Hotel Pura Natura Beachfront Tortuguero

The property is in front of the beach and the personal is really nice. The room with kitchen is super convinient

Hôtel simple et efficace avec accès à la mer (dans laquelle on ne se baigne pas au mois d’Août), proche du village. L’accès plage est restreint entre 6h du matin et 6h du soir pendant la période de ponte des tortues.
Les activités proposées par “l’hôtel” sont de qualité.

We did not appreciate having the kitchen and bathroom outside with limited privacy and with all the rain made them quite dirty and uncomfortable.

J’ai adoré. Il est différent des autres hôtel avec une cuisine et salle de bain à l’extérieur connecter à la chambre. Très grande chambre. Vu sur l’océan et accès à la plage. Terrasses de l’hôtel très cool

The staff is very nice. Book some tours through their partner agency because they have friendly and knowledgeable guides. A few friendly cats in the area, buy some whiskers from the grocery store and make some friends. Sloths in the tree outside. The beach is a few feet away if that’s your thing as well, very shallow water but a refreshing dip. The jungle park is just down the street, 6km out and back close to the beach with some good wildlife. Friendly locals, probably a bit crowded during busy season, but all good vibes. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants but they all have similar menus, not the greatest cuisine but good enough.

It was a good stay for one night. We arrived by boat and I was happy with the arrangement to be sure to arrive to the correct hotel. The staff of the hotel was really nice and the service was good.

Tortuguero is expensive, even by Costa Rica standards. Our room was basic with hottish water. The room was cleaned every day but the bed was broken and the pipes were all patched up in the bathroom which made it seem a bit down at heel.
Hotel receptionist was helpful but very keen to push tours.

Le bruit des vagues provenant de la mer. Un endroit paisible ou on peut pratiquer la "Pura Vida"

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and confortable. The air conditioner was perfect for the room and the access to the beach excellent. We enjoyed the sunrise and the fullmoon, walked on the beach at night. The room is few minutes walk from the center of the town throughout nice sidewalks, close by was our favorite restaurant Pura Vida. And the boat service was great leaving us right to the hote frontl and picking us up there.
