Our stay at Hotel Sosei was a luxurious and relaxing end to an amazing trip to Japan.
Pros:

The staff at Hotel Sosei was incredible. We were welcomed warmly every time we came back to the hotel, and they ensured we had everything we needed. The decor was unique and left something new to be discovered each day - in a good way. We also enjoyed the hotel bar most evenings before venturing out for dinner, and both of the bar tenders we had were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our room was clean, and the turn down service each evening was such a lovely touch after long (albeit incredible) days.

Cons:

Although not inconveniently located, it was a bit of a trek between the hotel and train station with suitcases. If you're a light packer, it wouldn't be too bad. However, we visited Hotel Sosei at the end of a 2.5 week trip in Japan; and we were loaded down at this point in the trip. I think a nice addition could be a complementary shuttle, even if it only runs from the hotel to the train station and not the other way around. That being said, they quickly flagged a taxi for us the morning of check out so we wouldn't have to go back to the station on foot.

Pros:

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Exquisitely fitted out and the main bar in the lobby was so warm and welcoming with a fireplace creating a cozy atmosphere as the snow was falling outside. The staff were wonderful, the rooms spacious and comfortable. Could not fault!

I would stay again.
Pros:

Excellent location. Easy to get to downtown area of Sapporo. Lobby, bar, and rooms with neat decorations and very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

本当に快適でした。
Pros:

インテリアが本当に素敵でした。ホテル内のどこもとても良い香りがします。朝食ビュッフェも種類が豊富なだけでなくとても美味しかったです。本当に快適に過ごせました。

Cons:

室内のゴミ箱とティシュケースが１つずつしかなかったので、もう１つずつあったらスコアは10でした。

Wothwhile option in Sapporo as an up-market hotel with an unusual decor.
Pros:

The room was a good size with good facilities- very large comfortable bed and a nice bathroom/ shower.
The staff were very helpful and polite.
The breakfast room had a nice ambience and there was a good food choice.
The mall across the road has a number of restaurants to choose from and you can obtain a light meal in the hotel bar downstairs .
The location is reasonable but not close to the main railway station.Taxi fare to railway station however was not expensive.

Cons:

The decor is strongly themed and not going to be to everyone's taste.
I think the hotel is somewhat overpriced even taking into account the very decent room size and service.

おしゃれで雰囲気のいいホテルだけど車でないと不便
Pros:

デザインがおしゃれで趣がある。アーリーチェックインを依頼したところ、当日の状況によるとの回答だったが、当日早めにチェックインさせてもらえたので、とても助かった。また、浴室が独立したタイプだったので、ゆったりと浸かれたのがよかった。プレゼントされたバスソルトも香りも浸かり心地もよかった。

Cons:

部屋が少しカビっぽい臭いがした。浴槽のところのお湯が出なかったので、仕方なくシャワーを使ってお湯を溜めて入った。駅までが遠いので、動きづらかった。
