It’s in a great location
Some things were a little old but very comfortable

Оценку снизила за то, что за такую стоимость ожидаешь большего. Некоторые моменты в отеле ( например санузел) уже пора обновить ... Если бы стоимость была ниже - то все прекрасно. Но за высокую сумму - ожидаешь более высокий уровень

Excellent all around. Amazing people working there, so lovely and helpful. The food was fantastic, freshly made, really feels hearty and super delicious; any request will be accommodated. The location… what is there to say: it’s a beautiful palace, gorgeous grounds and perfect serenity. Old world charm, you feel like you are being hosted by the royals. Very beautiful, charming and serene. Perfect all around - I highly recommend this hotel. Bonus: if you like history, there is plenty of rich stories to discover…

A royal experience - palatial rooms and outsized bathrooms, lovely swimming pool, and big grounds. Food prepared by the chef was delicious and authentic. Although located a bit away from Hampi, their reasonable charges for transportation compensate for that. They also have excellent drivers esp. Shankar, who is very reliable and safe on the road.
Around half hour drive to get to Hampi attractions.
There is nothing apart from the palace. You can't really go out of the room.
Outside lights were switched off.
Staying in this palace was the best decision of our trip. We were able to take a breather here after an intense trip. Amazing spaces, picturesque terraces, excellent service. We were also offered to use the palace's steam bath for free. I recommend it!

It was clean and there was enough hot water. The building itself is very pretty and we took some amazing photos. Staff were really nice. Swimming pool was enjoyable too. Food is great but overpriced (except the pizza).
SPA is shut even though advertised on the ads and this was one of the main reason for booking this place. So this was very disappointing. Pizza was horrible so better to be removed off the menu. Room service after 10pm is not available (as we wanted to purchase two beers and we couldn’t since there is stock in the place and no shops nearby, yet we were rejected). We couldn’t use the game room either as it shut at 10pm too.
It's a beautiful heritage property with excellent service. A royal experience ..
Absolutely nothing was pleasant about my stay, dirty bathtubs and mismanaged heritage where I was awakened at 5:30 AM by an intimidating ceremony. It was scary, I do not recommend it.
This property has nothing to do with Welcomheritage or ITC standards. A cheap motel would give you better sleep. They are so inconsiderate that there was a wedding like procession happening outside my room at 5:30 AM. The front office staff Sameer had told me that a priest would be doing some chanting outside my parents room to which I told him that we don't want him to wake us up as we have a long day of Hampi exploration the next day. He was extremely assertive and was simply informing us instead of seeking permission.
I was not comfortable with that and told him that the priest can whisper but the priest at 4 AM was ringing bells and reading mantras outside my senior citizen parents' room. He never told us about the 5:30 wedding like procession which woke us up with a shock. There were shehnais/ trumpets and drum rolls and smoke flowing into my room. I thought that it was a bad dream.
If I would not have made the pre payment, I would have called the police and not paid the tarrif because technically I could not use the room for that night for sleeping. I was groggy in the morning, ate medicines for headache and this stress will remain with the memories of Hampi.
We had made the prepayment for 2 nights and managed to get the money back for one night after repeatedly following up with the management. Do not make pre payment here.
The bath tub in the room was unusable and after telling them they showed us another room which had pigeon poop all over the balcony.
These people know absolutely nothing about hospitality, I don't think they can even run a motel well if a guest's sleep is not their priority. I strongly recommend to not stay here.
Moreover, the road leading to the hotel is a nuisance with a row of trucks where you could get stuck. Because of this ordeal, I don't recommend this property as a good stay option for exploring Hampi.
Staff were very friendly and very accommodating to our needs (use of bikes, early check in, late check out), all very appreciated
Hotel is lovely, a bit tired but good value for the price paid.

Gym has limited equipment but all new, quality kit in a big space.
Some areas that don’t get used very often are a bit neglected and not cleaned.

The welcome and overall attention to detail. You are staying in a real palace. The uniformed staff attend to ensure your stay is very comfortable.
The bed linen. Prefer it to be a 100% cotton.
Beautiful location in the private park, everything as in 1940s, bathroom was well renovated, very good bed, very clean, park was immaculately maintained as well as the house, very nice restaurant, very quiet at night. Very nice and helpful staff.
Locks on the outside of each room door - surely historic, but room can be locked from the outside with no way to escape the room in case of emergency as the windows have iron rods as well.
