Kingston Luxe Suites Riverside Apartment Belvilla

I booked this place.
I liked the location.
I pre-checked-in as requested.
And then arriving at Kingston Upon Thames, I contacted them.

I was informed by their property managers that the property had been shut down.

I travelled from Canada to the UK, and they did not advise me of a property change.

I had difficulty finding a replacement hotel because of timing (afternoon of check in) and a lack of internet access. I owe H&M because I used theirs in the mall.

I received an apology: sorry for the inconvenience.

It was NOT inconvenient. It was shocking. I had to book a place 20 miles away or so. I arrived at 2:00 pm or so. What if I had arrived at 10:00 pm to check in?

Unacceptable.

Still have no idea if I am being charged for the stay.

If this is the future of hotels, I don't want it the process was absolute garbage couldn't get into the hotel couldn't get into the room. It was hell.

No frills accommodation. Very close to norbiton station and kingston hospital. Comfortable. Basic kitchenette which i did not use

I do not recommend this place. I liked that it was very close to everything. But they did not have fridge as they advertised, tether also had a terrible shower with a very low water pressure which was cold too. When I messaged the facility, they completely ignored me. I will never be using it again.

Unlike my previous stays, this time the accommodation and the service were not up to the standard. There were no hot water in the shower and despite reporting it on the first day but four days later no on came back to me! So I am so disappointed and don’t think will book this accommodation anymore

The property is adequate for a short stay but requires significant improvement. Cleanliness was below standard; the cooker was extremely dirty and greasy. The kitchen lacks essential equipment for cooking, with only a small saucepan and a small frying pan provided. Additionally, there is no microwave for reheating food, and there are no tools or facilities for preparing items like chopped vegetables.

The fridge door was broken and could not close properly; makeshift wooden supports had been placed underneath to tilt it and keep the door shut, which is unacceptable. The carpet had noticeable stains, and the heating system was insufficient for the space, leaving the flat cold throughout my stay.

Noise insulation is poor, as sounds from other guests coming and going were audible and disruptive. While the property is comfortable enough for a couple of days, it is far from luxurious and falls short of expectations. Substantial upgrades are needed to improve the overall standard.

Great stay. Enjoyed it very much

It’s an amazing self-contained room to stay.

The only thing we liked is that there is free street parking after 6:30.
There were sacks of refuse behind our window.
The bed was sagging.
There were only two flat pillows on the bed and when we asked for pillows, they didn’t believe us and came searching for pillows in the room.
The fridge was not clean.
The radiator in the bathroom didn’t work so towels didn’t dry. We reported it and they said they would come and look at it but they never did.
We asked for additional towels and they didn’t give us.
We’ve stayed here before and didn’t have any problems but this time, they gave us a bad room.

Good

It was a lovely and cosy stay. Room and bathroom very modern and clean. The kitchenette is a bonus. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
