Beach front, exceptional staffs and beautiful clean room

The location, accommodation, food, quite place and the friendliness of the staff
The location which near the beach. Our room is actually a beachfront and the sunset is so gorgeous. The bed/comforter was very comfortable.
The bath towels had a stench. There was a giant cockroach in the bathroom. The restaurant had very slow service. Narrow road to reach destination

Cockroaches. There were some in a few rooms.

Food service was awful. Slow to serve, take orders and cook. The whole process was bad! Took almost 2 hours just to eat. Too much time to waste. Menu needs improvement and the cocktails were weak. Iced coffee was too sweet and more milk than coffee.

Can’t bring food or drinks in the room or you’ll be charged for fumigation thus the cockroach I guess.

A peaceful, secure location (with free parking) less than 50 meters from the water. The beach was practically deserted. Wonderful sunsets and ocean breezes flowing through the dinning area. Really great food with gourmet meals, wine and desserts a la carte. Free substantial breakfasts. Congenial owners and keen staff eager to provide with you an excellent stay. Showers with hot water. Good air conditioning and free wifi. Clean. No hassle car rental and shuttle to Manila or Clark airports. Spa massages available on short notice. Excellent all around.
If you appreciate tranquility and good western and fusion cuisine there is nothing to dislike.

외부 음식은 과자만 가능하며 방안에서 음주가 불가능하고 넷플릭스 같은 시청 서비스 역시 없음.

The staff were polite and welcoming, and the room had a beautiful beachfront view. The resort was very quiet during our stay, which made it peaceful and relaxing.
The main issue was the food. Both dinner and breakfast were very poor. The fish and chips had overly thick batter and were undercooked in places, and the fish did not seem fully cooked. The beef caldereta was tough, very fatty, oily, and unpleasant. Breakfast options were limited; while the cereal was fine, the omelette and bacon were extremely oily and inedible (See attached image).
I raised these concerns with the front desk, and the owner’s son was accommodating and showed good customer service by offering a small gesture. However, there was no apology. At checkout, the owner responded defensively and dismissed the feedback. She suggested that because I am American, I may be used to additives or MSG, spoke negatively about Filipino food, and said she had never received a food complaint before, implying the issue was simply our preference. Guest feedback is part of hospitality, and it was disappointing that legitimate concerns were met with defensiveness rather than an effort to understand or improve.
Additionally, there is no swimming pool. The room had a noticeable number of mosquitoes (likely normal for a beachfront location), and one beachfront room is occupied by an owner whose dog barked at us while we were on the beach. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

Just a little plumbing works. When you shower, water clogs, and it takes time to settle or dran.

We arrived in the evening and the road entering the resort area is too dark .
The 4 Beachfront rooms are very nice with Seaview. From the rooms you have direct access to the beach. The owners are very helpful to give you information for Private Driver etc.

Sunbloom was hands down the best vacation experience of my life. The hosts, Katie and Randy, went above and beyond to make us feel not just comfortable—but like family. The place radiates charm, surrounded by beauty, and every detail felt intentionally tailored to enhance the experience.
From fresh coconuts retrieved just for us, to borrowing their trike to get a real feel for island life, to cheese omelets and special drinks that were genuinely life-changing—it was next level. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were perfect after a full day of ocean play. I even appreciated the feet washers just outside the door!
The personal boat tour with Bai was an unforgettable highlight. The spa experience was another level of bliss—the twin massage therapists were there whenever we needed them for couples massages, and they worked magic every time.
The entire staff was incredible—attentive, intuitive, and often one step ahead of our needs. The food? Bar none. The menu is a global adventure, inspired by Katie and Randy’s own travels. Don’t miss the Bicol Express—it’s a must.
I love this place, and I’ll be back the first chance I get. 🌴✨

We were accommodated by one of the best Customer Service in the Philippines. Hotel Staffs were amazing. Hotel Managers are honest, approachable and accommodating. The ambience is so relaxing and for sure we will come back! Huge 5 stars for this resort/hotel. Foods were amazing and exceeded our expectations. I need to leave back to our home so I did not have the time to experience their sumptuous breakfast.
I could not think anything.
Peaceful unlike other resort that I have been to. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are great. Many food selection and delicious, I can tell that the owners Kate and Randy are really taking care of their hotel.
Hotel amenities are OK except WIFI connections is poor and need to improve.

We booked a small standard room with all the basics except for TV, which we did not require.
We had great aircon, hot water, fabulous bed, cleaned to a high standard. The choice of foods were exceptionally good, well prepared, staff were awesome and friendly, catered to all our needs. The ambience and views from the restaurant overlooking the ocean and sunsets were awesome. This establishment would be the best regional hotel/resort I have ever stayed in and I have travelled far n wide in the Philippines.
There's nothing not to like about about this hotel. 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.
