Comfortable, clean, the basics - worth it!
Pros:

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Leon kindly helped me carry my bag up the stairs and was accommodating when I asked for a later checkout. Place was spotless, too. Only a 10-min slow walk from the high street.

Cons:

The showerhead in my room needs repairing. Also, there was just one outlet where I had to unplug the AC to rotate between charging my phone and laptop, but hey... it wasn't a big deal. The noise from the restaurant below kept me up until late, though.

Muy buena opción para su precio pero fallas importantes en el baño
Pros:

Comodidad a pesar de ser habitaciones pequeñas, muy buena cama, me gustó el concepto del hotel, buena ubicación, no se satura para estacionarse y llegar tranquilo en auto. Tienen un bar abajo muy ambientado.

Cons:

Se ve que es un hotel nuevo y eligieron acabados muy pobres, en particular el baño, un pésimo sanitario que funciona muy mal, el lavabo es una tarja de acero inoxidable que me sigue gustando más otro tipo de lavabo, la regadera no mantiene el agua caliente más que por lapsos cortos.

Ich habe mir das Hotel ausgesucht, weil es moderner als viele andere Hotels wirkte und ich gehofft habe, dass es ruhige sein würde, als direkt im Stadtzentrum. Leider ist es weder modern, noch ruhig. Das Hotel liegt direkt über einer Karaoke-Bar, mit lautstarker Musik mit einem ordentlichen Bass. Angeblich nur bis 22 Uhr. Das ist aber nicht wahr. Wer vor hat auch vor 0 Uhr in seinem Hotelzimmer schlafen zu wollen, sollte hier kein Zimmer reservieren. Außerdem wird auch erst nach drei Nächten auf Anfrage hin geputzt…

Nice place to stay at an affordable price.
Pros:

The rooms are modern and clean. Staff are very friendly. There are shops, cafes and a market all close by. We enjoyed dining at Trina Cafe next door.

Cons:

The rooms were a bit on the small side. There are no other facilities at this hotel (eg spa, gym etc).

A good budget option, especially for shorter stays if you're staying alone and like to stay up late
Pros:

Kubo provides a great place to stay for a couple of nights if you're on a budget. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day and they provided you fresh bottles of water daily. The location was good in that it was walkable to the center of the city and generally the neighborhood was quiet. Trina's bar/restaurant on the main floor has nice staff and good drinks.

Cons:

The rooms really are built into shipping containers. It is a small space--too small for two people to occupy comfortably. There is no air conditioning, which I expected, but the tower fan they provide isn't enough to compete with the heat that builds during the day if it's sunny. Also, the bar/restaurant on the ground floor makes a lot of noise and smells at night, so if you want to be able to sleep before 11 or midnight you might have some trouble. Finally, the bed was not very comfortable--especially for two people. The mattress is very springy so you can feel it every time the other person moves even a little bit.
