Exceptional experience for the discerning traveller
Pros:

The property was exceptional. From the breathtaking garden, enjoyed from the breakfast view, to the refined elegance of the room. Every aspect was considered. The location was perfect, quieter but still within a short walking distance of many key sites.

快適で特別な体験ではあったがもう一度いきたいほどでもない。

景観がよくホテル周辺のアクティビティが充実していた。
お料理がとにかく美味しい。

外国人がいなかった。

接客。

全体的に余裕のない感じでマニュアル形。
雑談や、設備などについての質問に臨機応変な対応ができないことが気になった。

小鉢の中の料理の一部が足りなかったり、アメニティの注文内容と届いたもので違いがあったり、アクティビティの予約がスムーズでなかったりと気になる点は節々に見受けられた。

價格很貴，但是設施跟熱海、河口湖的馥府差太多，不值得住在京都的馥府

exceptional service, food and super comfort and heartwarming room. particularly enjoyed the room with the tea corner and all the snacks + drinks!!! having ice old sparkling water after onsen - what a genius idea!

The perfect relaxing luxury stay away from the city
Pros:

Have stayed twice now (first time for a single night and second for two nights) and loved it equally both times. It is truly a treat from start to finish, and the breakfast is lovely with the option to have it served in-room, although if you are only staying one night I would suggest going to the restaurant to eat and view their beautiful Japanese garden. The ipad in-room makes it easy to request any additional toiletries. The staff are great, and were even able to help send our large checked luggage to the next hotel via Yamato, calling the next hotel staff to arrange receipt of them. Would come a third time and many more after given the opportunity to.

Cons:

The only slight downside is the nearest station is about 0.4-0.5mi (0.65-0.8km) which can feel like a bit of a walk, but is not bad at all and nice to walk through the scenery.
