Relaxing break.
Pros:

The room was fabulous, spotless clean and well equipped. Stunning view over looking the grounds. Extremely comfortable. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming.
We had dinner in the restaurant upstairs and it was beautiful, great views overlooking the golf course. Staff lovely.

To stay again or not.???!!
Pros:

Food, dinner and breakfast were excellent

Cons:

Awful tea in room, maybe it was the water...undrinkable... I biscuit to share with 3 people booked in. Not good enough. Floor levels was a talking joke among guests in lift. Very frustrating....more signs needed and staff seem to keep it a secret. If they just mention it when picking up the key it woukd help. It was ridiculous.

Excellent hotel with excellent and helpful and friendly staff. The staff are your greatest asset.
Pros:

Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Food was fine. I cannot eat greasy food so was limited.

Cons:

As a relatively new disabled person, I found it awkward to get around with a walker with 4 wheels in bedroom/bathroom. I could not have a shower as could not get into bath and shower itself did not have a seat. In retrospect I should have asked for a wet room with shower chair but every day a learning day!! I struggled to get into bed as had to minimize the walker to fit between the beds.

The most disappointing aspect of the food was the potato bread. Irrespective of the effect of potato bread on me, I was trilled to see it on a menu in Ulster. It was, to put it mildly, very disappointing. Very thin and a ball of grease and all my family agreed (and they did not have an issue with greasy food). Was surprised that could not cook my own toast. One of my family was given 3 triangles of toast (ie 1.5 slices). I know everything is shrinking but 1.5 slices!!!).
