Het hostel zag er nieuw uit. Alles was schoon en netjes en leuk ingedeeld, personeel heeft mij geweldig geholpen met al mijn vragen en het plannen van mijn volgende bestemming.
Het ligt iets verder van het strand. Je moet een heuveltje oplopen.

The concept
My specific capsule smelt like moth balls and body odour, resulting in me having to find other accommodations as the smell was unbearable. Additionally, from inside the capsule with the door closed I could clearly hear all conversations and movement. Was supposed to stay 3 nights and left my first night.
My pod was pristine inside. I didn’t spend much time there except for sleeping/showering but there is a pool and it always appeared clean. Facilities are simple but clean and sufficient.
There is a big hill on the road leading to Pupa House. It was fine for me but for those with mobility issues (or worn knees!) it could be challenging.

1 - It would be good to have a note for guests to do not set the AC to a temperature higher than 24°C and to do not hide the control inside their pod. Once, we arrived at the room and the AC was set to 28°C and the control was hidden (it magically appeared the next day).
2 - One day we run out of water and I message the hostel through WhatsApp to get to know what was going on. I've never had a response through WhatsApp. The security guy just said that it was a problem of the whole Tamarindo. However, we hung out with people who were staying at other places in Tamarindo and they said that the water was normal. I think it was disrespectful to do not have aswered my message, explaining better what was going on exactly.
3 - The sink area needs a shelf to put your stuff while you are, for example, brushing your teeth. The shower area needs more hooks to hang your clothes while you are taking a shower.
4 - A full body mirror would be nice. There was none.

Jajajaja, los conectores sólo están en las cápsulas, pero igual podías ir a pedir que te cargarán el celular en la entrada.
On the positive side, I would especially like to highlight the receptionist. She was a very kind person, always with a smile and very helpful. From the first moment, she made me feel at home with her warm and welcoming attitude, which really made a difference during my stay.
As for what could be improved, the parking situation might be a downside for some guests. The place does not have its own parking, so you need to park on the street. It was not a major issue, but it is something to keep in mind.

Friendly staff with a nice view from roof terrace where you can relax or have breakfast.
There are no windows that you can open in the rooms so you are forced to sleep with the A/C turned on.
The highlight is definitely the staff, they all are very warm and helpful. The facilities are in good shape and it’s very clean.
The butterfly garden is a must do.

Un concepto muy interesante y novedoso, personal súper amable y atento, el lugar limpio, el desayuno incluído en el precio era un poco básico pero estaba muy bueno y fue suficiente para mí. Habitación, baños y cápsula perfectamente limpias, todos los botones, luces y sensores para abrir la cápsula, cabina y lockers sirven bien, la cápsula es más cómoda y bonita de lo que parece. Sin duda volvería y lo recomiendo. Gracias a todo el personal por su excelente atención.
El desayuno podía incluir algo más , era solamente pinto, huevo revuelto y plátano maduro. Pero estaba muy bien de sabor.

Clean, secure, and organized with an amazing view from the roof. Fantastic breakfast and amazing staff that made me feel at home while on my first solo trip. Close to the night market, an awesome view point on the hill and a short walk to the beach!
