Pros:

Modì è un hotel di piccole-medie dimensioni, ma molto curato. Si trova in una posizione centrale, nei pressi del meraviglioso mercato delle Vettovaglie. Nonostante ciò è silenziosissimo, grazie a un'accurata e recente ristrutturazione. Il personale di portineria è costantemente presente. Molto accogliente l'arredamento: dal bagno minimal (dove però non manca nulla) al blu delle pareti; in camera sono presenti più cuscini di altezze diverse e molteplici soluzioni di illuminazione. Sono una viaggiatrice pignola e un po' schizzinosa, ma posso garantire che ho trovato tutto pulitissimo; notevole anche la qualità dei materiali (lenzuola, materassi, sanitari, prodotti per l'igiene). Infatti ho dormito divinamente.
Chi si aspetta una colazione ricca resterà deluso, ma non è accaduto a me: un cappuccino e una brioche conversando con la responsabile di portineria mi hanno permesso di iniziare al meglio la giornata. Una colazione del genere (diciamo la verità) è molto in linea con le abitudini di gran parte degli italiani ed è meglio di tanti buffet variopinti ma generalisti e con cibi di scarsa qualità. Trovo apprezzabile la scelta di Modì, in quanto non grava sul costo della camera e invita l'ospite a esplorare i tanti caffè del quartiere.

Pros:

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und hilfsbereit. Trug mir den Koffer auf mein Zimmer im 1. Stock ohne Lift. Hunde erlaubt. Sehr sauberes und neu renoviertes Zimmer. Eigenes Badezimmer. Ruhig.

Cons:

Um ins Badezimmer zu kommen muss man eine hohe Stufe hinaufsteigen. Parkplätze sind nur auf der Strasse möglich. In der Nacht gratis.

Fantastic, Fun, Friendly, Foodie
Pros:

Modi is in a great location for exploring this fabulous city.
The staff are exceptional - really friendly and knowledgeable of the area and ready to give lots of great advice and ideas of things to do and places to go.
Livorno has some incredible restaurants and pizzerias and is great value for money.
We would highly recommend Livorno and Modi Hotel

Posizione eccellente. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Struttura elegante e accogliente.

Cons:

Nelle stanze le abat jour avevano le lampadine con luce fredda. Personalmente le sostituirei con lampadine a luce calda :)

Pros:

Wir hatten Gllück mit dem Zimmer, wenn wir die anderen Bewertungen sehen. Das Bad war neu renoviert, es roch noch nach Silikon. War ok für eine Nacht aber wir würde nie wieder in Livorno bleiben.

Cons:

Die Lage ist katastrophal. Man hätte uns auf das Parking hinweisen sollen, uns wurde schlussendlich am Kanal über Nacht die Scheibe des Autos eingeschlagen. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, die Lage ist einfach sehr schlecht. Die Toilette war sehr hoch und komisch gebaut mit einer offenen Frontseite. Nicht gerade hygienisch.

Klein aber fein
Pros:

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber sehr sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was ich für eine Übernachtung brauchte. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schöner Bonus: Es gab sogar eine kleine Terrasse.

Cons:

Das WLAN ist quasi nicht vorhanden und die Tür der Dusche schloss nicht, so dass der Boden sehr nass wurde.
