The private beach only
The location is far away from city centre, all the way no lighting up and dark. Feel not safe. The room is overrated for such of price we paid. Shower not hot. The facilities are closed due to low season, without informed us earlier when the booking was made. Very disappointed. A few dogs coming to the restaurant when we had a breakfast, not comfortable at all and I even hadn’t finished my breakfast. The resort should be taking care of their pets away from their guest to make sure hygienic.
Great location and facilities
The surf club was a particular highlight
The music from the hotel restaurants and the hotel behind was loud very late into the night
poor unsafe conditions
worst experience I have ever had
super loud music till 3 am - impossible to sleep
dirty rooms
broken pieces
endless list
This was my second time staying here, and once again, no regrets. The breakfast is truly outstanding – it’s a fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious Aegean style breakfast. The staff are amazing and special thanks to Pınar at reception, who is simply the best – warm, professional, and always helpful. The location is perfect, with a stunning beach. Alaçatı town is 15 mins away by car and taxis are always available.
No portable irons available in the hotel.
The location, the breakfast
Beach access was run by a separate company, prioritising their paying customers over hotel guests; no twin room provided although explicitly requested and acknowledged.
Great location with easy access to the beach. The property was well set up and comfortable
The staff were inexperienced and unfriendly. They didn’t seem happy with their jobs, and it reflected in their attitude, which didn’t make us feel welcome. Additionally, the beachside staff used a lot of slang and inappropriate language among themselves and also spoke to customers in an unprofessional manner. One day, someone who looked like a mafia-type character (possibly the owner of an outsourced service company) spent the whole day in front of us gossiping and having strange conversations with the staff, never leaving the area. The facility itself is beautiful, but the staff quality seriously brings down the overall experience.
Worst Hotel Experience Ever; Do NOT Stay Here!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about Alacati Beach Resort, which was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve traveled a lot.
Let’s start with the language barrier: this hotel is absolutely not suitable for international guests. Not a single staff member, not even management, could speak English. This made basic communication nearly impossible, and as a result, we received inconsistent and often subpar service compared to local guests. It was frustrating, isolating, and completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be five stars.
The room was filthy. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in weeks. We even found a cockroach, yes, a cockroach, in our room. No apologies, no urgency from staff. Just total indifference.
The Cherry On Top cocktail bar? Advertised to open at 20:30 online, we tried to go three times and were told (in broken English or gestures) that it would open “later”, which actually meant 23:00. Absolutely zero reliability or professionalism.
Speaking of professionalism, or lack thereof, the entire hotel staff acted like they had never worked in hospitality before. No customer service, no understanding of how to treat guests, just blank stares or shrugging shoulders. Completely incompetent and not remotely five-star quality.
Now for the worst part: we were never informed that their on-site restaurant Veranda turns into a nightclub every night, blasting music until 23:00 and on some nights as late as 01:30. We came here to relax, not to have our room shaking with bass every night. We complained multiple times, and were ignored for five full days. Only after constant insistence did they finally bring someone from management who could barely speak English, and even then, they did nothing.
It’s honestly embarrassing, disrespectful, and insulting that they market this as a five-star resort.
