Everything was spectacular. It far exceeded my expectations. Big luxurious bathroom, nice balcony, great third floor area to relax in the morning, great friendly staff! Couldn't ask for more
Had to ask for more toilet paper and water each day. The lights were a bit much. It had super bright lights that lit up the whole room. Had to use the small side light by the beds or couch that was not enough at night.
Spacious but empty.
Too antiquated (= damn old!) and under-staffed. No online system to check you in. The front guy uses a notebook to keep reservations!
No English-speaking front desk, poor services, bad lock mechanism of the front gate. No electrical outlet by the bed. No hot shower and clogged sinks!!!!!!
Located in the heart of CDMX very walkable to various restaurants, bars, stores, attractions such as museums and the zocalo.
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Coffee, juice and pastries provided in the morning.
Staff was attentive and supportive (non-English speaker- but Google Translate works) super location, room was very nice, quiet, clean and good value. I will come back. Ancient elevator was fun touch, slow but works! Adds to charm.
All good!
The hotel is centrally located two blocks from the Zocalo. Despite this, it is fairly quiet. The two guys manning the reception are extremely helpful, but do not speak English well. The room we had was large and very well equipped, and had a kitchenette with a fridge, micro and stove top.
The breakfast is minimal and not particularly appetizing. However, with an abundance of local breakfast options close by there is really no good reason to eat in the hotel anyway.
Excellent location, light-filled, very comfortable, well equipped suite. Concierge’s were terrific! Light breakfast was a welcome surprise. Highly recommend.
Location, comfortable bed, clean!!
Could add a few items to the breakfast.
Spacious rooms, conveniently located near attractions
The cleanliness of the bed sheets needs improvement, as they contain hair and lint balls.
The location was great and staff very friendly
The concierges are exceptional. Simply my best customer experience
Bed for me was kinda hard.
The location is amazing, the room is big and comfortable.
The front desk staff is dishonest, and this property has a very concerning way of overcharging guests. My flight was canceled due to weather, so the airline rescheduled it and I needed to extend my stay for myself and my kids.
The front desk clerk told me it would be much cheaper to book directly with him instead of Booking.com because of “extra fees.” When I asked which fees, he mentioned cleaning fees, U.S. taxes, and Booking’s commission, claiming those would not apply if I booked directly. In the end, the price difference was only $11, which made the explanation misleading.
He also promised free breakfast, but upon check-in claimed this was a “5-star bed and breakfast,” which did not match the quality or services "provided."
The misleading sales tactics and the extremely overpriced tours they try to sell are a major red flag. I would not recommend using any services offered by this property. Proceed with caution.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
There was no heating in the rooms, and the nights in Mexico City were cold. Mini splits are supposed to both heat and cool, but in December, only the cooling function worked.
