Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr netter Empfang im Hotel. Kleines aber sehr saubere Einzelzimmer und gute Anbindung an die Öffis.
Turned up after been booked in for about six months, they had me booked in for the day after, their fault, they had imputed data wrong into their system, tried to fob me off with a 1 Star hotel to make up for their mistake, phoned Hotels.com took near on 3 hrs to get sorted with another hotel, sat in a car in 28 degrees heat, dare not move in case I lost phone signal, cost me an extra £85 for different accommodation, it was mine and my partners first night on a tour of Europe, we had just drive over 800km from England, unhappy about the situation doesn’t even come close!!
Sehr guter Service
Stayed here for one night in a single room when travelling to Dortmund for sporting event.
Once at the hotel to check in, the male receptionist couldn't have been more miserable. It was as much as he could do to check me in. He couldn't be bothered to show me where the room was, refused to speak any English (for an hotel owner, incredible!), and I just about understood that entry late at night was round the back.
The room was clean enough and what I expected for the money.
Breakfast was adequate.
I was put off by the poor reception and I would definitely never stay there again.
I don't understand many of the previous reviewer's issues with this hotel. We found the grounds to be lovely with nice patio seating and excellent service. The rooms were very clean and new with good t.v. channel choices, a mini bar, a safe, a Bible, and wifi. There was a large counter, writing area which I appreciated. At no time did we smell farms or see traffic. The breakfast was good, typically German with cold cuts, cheese, rolls, yogurt, coffee etc.
My room was on the third floor. There were many stairs to climb but then, that's how it is in Europe. I had to venture downstairs to attempt to figure out the wifi. The owner was somewhat crusty and not very helpful with this. I was unable to access it with his minimal explanation. At breakfast, we were told not to sit at a certain table in a brighter area because it was reserved. Then we were gently reminded that breakfast would soon be ending and then it would be brunch. In other words, hurry up. Perhaps that could be interpreted as impolite personnel.
Essentially, I would stay here again should I require accommodation in this area.
- small and smelly rooms (especially on the 3rd floor it stinks)
- very poor breakfast
- impolite personnel
- small parking lot and always occupied
- heavy traffic near in the nearby
- the smell form nearby farms is nasty
