Pros:

Very nice, comfortable, clean room. Staff were helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good, but not excellent.

Very central location
Pros:

Great location and the staff had already put our bags in our room prior to our arrival! Nice room interior compared to common spaces and beautiful view

Cons:

Food was good at dinner and breakfast but service was slow and not very helpful. Lots of construction storage in the passages and felt a little run down. Terrible WiFi

Lovely character pub
Pros:

Excellent location. Really old hotel which is being renovated. Decor in room was lovely. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable bed I have stayed in.
The staff were lovely and friendly.

Cons:

It needed a bit of a clean up in areas. There were obviously renovations going on but it was a bit untidy in places.

Good location for Cotswold Way
Pros:

The restaurant for dinner was very good.

Cons:

It was extremely expensive for what it was. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the room extremely small. The included breakfast was very basic and they would not let us order a cooked breakfast, even though they say you can. For the price I would expect a much better breakfast to be included.

Overall fair - higher priced then others we stayed at which were nicer overall

Cons:

Interior level 1, 2 etc Steep steps and many of them to traverse the hotel (difficult with suitcases) - Room and hallways slanted so walking a little at an angle. Bathroom had a significant step up to get into the area. Difficult overall with elderly or those with bad knees etc.

Pros:

The room and bathroom were updated snd clean.

Cons:

The public areas -dining room, breakfast area and hallways were dirty and cluttered since they were used to store chairs and supplies. Carpet was worn and unkempt.

Pros:

Location on the Cotswold. Two of the three beds were comfortable and everything except the wifi worked.

Cons:

No wifi in our room.. The hotel lists free wifi, but this only works on the first floor. One of the three beds was extremely uncomfortable.

Pros:

Our party absolutely adored the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly. The room was clean. I would definitely stay again. The in house restaurant was beautiful and the food was great.! We would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Hate to say it but you could feel the springs in the beds poking you in the back. There was a heat wave and we were on the top floor where it was even hotter. The staff were able to give us one circulating fan but it was not sufficiant. I would suggest to them to keep portable air conditioning units, just in case, for the summer months.
