Pros:

スタッフが親切だった。サファリに出かける為大きい荷物をあずってもらえた

Cons:

シャワーの出がよくなかった。アザーンの音が部屋に響いて朝5時に起こされてしまう

Pros:

Es hat alles was ein Hotel braucht. Hervorzuheben ist das super nette Personal, welches sich sofort um alles kümmert was man braucht. Die Begleitung frühmorgens zum Busbahnhof, der übrigens fast um die Ecke ist , fand ich besonders nett.

Super freundliches und hilfsbereite Personal. Der shuttle Service zum Flughafen hat super funktioniert und konnte an der Rezeption mit Karte bezahlt werden.

Cons:

Relativ kleines Zimmer und Moschee in der Nähe. Daher hatten wir spät abends uns sehr früh morgens (5 Uhr) lauten Gebetsgesang im Zimmer. Da das Hotel mitten in der Stadt liegt ist es schwierig selbst mit einem Auto anzureisen.

Cons:

The most important thing to know: the area. The hotel sits in a dense market/bus-station district with virtually no food options nearby, and the surrounding streets did not feel safe. I was not comfortable walking around the area alone, especially after dark. Combined with a breakfast served in a small meeting room (three chafing dishes, basic coffee) that I would not eat, there was effectively no viable food option for my entire stay.

The room itself: the shower had no cold water at all, only a weak trickle of hot. Corroded shower head, towel ring broken off the wall, badly damaged bathroom mirror. Only small bars of soap, despite the listing advertising "free toiletries." Septic smell in the bathroom. Wi-Fi connected briefly then kept dropping.

Also note: loudspeaker calls to prayer from nearby mosques are clearly audible in the room from 5:15 AM, during the day and at 6:30 PM, each lasting about 15 minutes.

I stayed at the Mount Meru Hotel immediately after (rated 8.0-8.5). There is no comparison. I don't understand how both hold nearly the same score.

Quirlige Unterkunft mitten in Arusha
Pros:

Unterkunft mitten in Arusha, für den Preis gute Unterkunft. Die Moschee weckt einen früh auf. Das Essen im Restaurant hat uns gut geschmeckt.

Cons:

Frühstück erst ab 7 Uhr ist für Ausflüge zu spät

Pros:

It is in the beating heart of Arusha and also close to the bus station. There are plenty of locals around at day and at reasonalble night hours, so I felt safe strolling along just by myself in the surrounding area and get some street food.
The hotel staff was w.r.t. tips and tricks very helpful and the local breakfast there was tasty.

Cons:

The muezzin from the mosque woke me up, but thats the same in wide parts of Tanzania.
The rooms are quite small, but its good vale for money when taking the location into consideration as well.

Great short stay before and after our safari
Pros:

We stayed at Rich Hotel Arusha twice — one night before heading out on safari and our last night before flying on to Nairobi. Daniel, the hotel manager, was friendly and helpful, and the rest of the staff were super kind as well. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good too. In short, everything you need for a short stay. Would happily stay here again.
