Breakfast was disappointing
Ruhondo Beach è un resort molto elegante con elevati standard qualitativi dei servizi. Abbiamo avuto un upgrade alla stanza superior, con una meravigliosa vista sul lago e sul tramonto. La foschia ci ha impedito di vedere tutte le cime dei vulcani, ma il panorama era comunque bellissimo. La stanza e il bagno sono grandi e puliti, c'è una veranda esterna con tavolo e sedie vista lago. La colazione, sempre vista lago, è abbondante e buona. I piatti preparati dallo chef del ristorante sono ottimi (abbiamo assaggiato diverse pietanze della cucina africana). Tramite l'hotel abbiamo inoltre prenotato un'escursione con Philbert, una guida fantastica che ci ha accompagnato lungo un sentieri che arriva al punto panoramico sui due laghi, passando attraverso i villaggi dove abbiamo avuto diversi contatti con le persone che abitano lì.

William the manager speaks english and french. He is very reactive and helpful. The food was nice but above the place whre the lodge stands is perfect. On the lake shore with a sublime view on the volcanos for the sunset and the sunrise. A small piece of paradise. Highly recommended!

I feel in love with everything,the view of the volcanoes and the boat tour to visit the islands are recommend able.

I thought the fire place was private per couple/guest but it was shared. It was still a great experience.

There was a renovation and construction going on so it wasn't peaceful with all the noise from workers
The area is nice.
We booked the tent, because it looked romantic on the picture. In reality, the tent is awful, old, worn-out and muggy, the "bed" felt like a crater of a vulcano. We could use the bathroom of one room, but had to give back the key all time, so one morning had to wait 20 minutes for the key.
The restaurant is OK, but a bit overpriced.
Beautiful location, great views over lake ruhondo. Nice houses with good facilities. The manager does all he can to fulfill your wishes. Food is good, waiters are friendly.
The usual things: water pressure very low or absent. Cold showers. Very long waiting times in the restaurant, but who cares with such great views.
