Pros:

Beautiful location

Cons:

The cottages and facilities are in need of refurbishment and updating. The bathroom handle was broken and unable to provide hot water. When I informed them of the issue they agreed to move me to a different cottage. However even the second cottage had a problem with a bad smell coming from the bathroom draining. Again I had to complain and they upgraded me to their best cottage which was very nice and comfortable.

Très bel endroit et personnel très aimable. Pas mal d'activités proposées mais on ne découvre qu'à la fin les tarifs. Dommage

Eleganza e tranquillità sul Lago Ruhondo
Pros:

Ruhondo Beach è un resort molto elegante con elevati standard qualitativi dei servizi. Abbiamo avuto un upgrade alla stanza superior, con una meravigliosa vista sul lago e sul tramonto. La foschia ci ha impedito di vedere tutte le cime dei vulcani, ma il panorama era comunque bellissimo. La stanza e il bagno sono grandi e puliti, c'è una veranda esterna con tavolo e sedie vista lago. La colazione, sempre vista lago, è abbondante e buona. I piatti preparati dallo chef del ristorante sono ottimi (abbiamo assaggiato diverse pietanze della cucina africana). Tramite l'hotel abbiamo inoltre prenotato un'escursione con Philbert, una guida fantastica che ci ha accompagnato lungo un sentieri che arriva al punto panoramico sui due laghi, passando attraverso i villaggi dove abbiamo avuto diversi contatti con le persone che abitano lì.

Pros:

William the manager speaks english and french. He is very reactive and helpful. The food was nice but above the place whre the lodge stands is perfect. On the lake shore with a sublime view on the volcanos for the sunset and the sunrise. A small piece of paradise. Highly recommended!

Unbeatable experience,a redo experience.
Pros:

I feel in love with everything,the view of the volcanoes and the boat tour to visit the islands are recommend able.
Arriving by boat made it an unbeatable experience,top service.

A wonderful serene stay & will certainly be back.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. Wonderful selections. The staff was also very attentive to any additional needs. Superb breakfast none the less.

Cons:

I thought the fire place was private per couple/guest but it was shared. It was still a great experience.
