Teils unbehaglich, durch die tolle Frühstücks-Crew u. den engagierten Eigentümer aufgefangen!
Pros:

Die Frühstücks-Crew ist noch nahezu die gleiche, wie früher. Absolut top und mit viel Liebe wird hier gearbeitet.
Namen kann/möchte ich hier nicht nennen - aber die Dame, die auch für die Vorbereitung des Pizza-Abends verantwortlich ist - sie ist mit Gold nicht aufzuwiegen!
Immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen - hier können sich andere Mitglieder des Teams eine riesige Scheibe abschneiden (dazu mehr in der weiteren Bewertung).
Der Umstrukturierung hin zur Effizienz fiel leider ein wenig die Gemütlichkeit zum Opfer.
Neue Zimmer kamen hinzu (von denen wir auch eins bekommen haben).

Auf die angesprochenen "Mängel" hat sich Martin (der Eigentümer) umgehend persönlich bei uns gemeldet.
Das zeugt von wahrer Größe und zeigt, wie sehr ihm das Wohl der Gäste am Herzen liegt! Ein feiner Zug, der mich dazu bewogen hat, die ursprüngliche Bewertung anzupassen.

Man muss bei dieser objektiven Bewertung etwas weiter ausholen…
Wir waren schon einmal Gäste in der Villa Sermolli - das war allerdings VOR der Umstrukturierung bzw. VOR des "Umbaus".
Und damals (2024) war es absolut TOP, weshalb wir hier noch einmal gebucht haben.
Die jetzige Struktur hat aber leider nicht mehr viel mit der damaligen Ausrichtung gemeinsam. Und es ist sehr schade, für den Aufenthalt in dieser tollen Villa, lediglich 7 Punkte vergeben zu können.
Unser "Superior"-Zimmer entpuppte sich als normales Classic-Zimmer - bezahlt haben wir aber für ein Superior-Zimmer (wurde bzw. wird ab sofort berücksichtigt). Beim ersten Regen fiel dann direkt auf, dass die Tür zur PRIVATEN Terrasse undicht war (Zimmer 103).
Das Classic-Zimmer (und das war es definitiv), wurde "aufgewertet" durch eine PRIVATE Terrasse, wie sie uns beim Betreten des Zimmers (Classic) angepriesen wurde.
Privat war es leider nicht…Nicht nur, dass dauernd irgendwelche anderen Gäste des Hotels auf unserer PRIVATEN Terrasse auftauchten…nein…auch der Weg an der Terrasse (und somit auch an unserem Zimmer) vorbei, war besonders für einen jungen Kellner interessant.
Dieser besagte Kellner war besonders spannend - und das bezieht sich nicht auf seinen interessanten Charakter…nein - er war einfach nur ein Spanner, der ungeniert immer wieder in unser Zimmer geguckt hat. Nicht nur ein flüchtiger, verirrter Blick - nein…ganz bewusst hat er immer wieder in unser Zimmer gespannt!
Besagter Kellner war es dann auch, der einem als zahlender Gast immer wieder zu verstehen gegeben hat, dass man ihn eigentlich nervt und er keine Lust auf Freundlichkeit hat.
An Überheblichkeit, Unfreundlichkeit und absoluter Dreistigkeit war der Bursche nicht zu überbieten - so einen Unsympathen haben wir noch nie erlebt!
Dank seiner SPANNENDEN Tätigkeit, hat man sich (besonders meine Frau) den Großteil des Aufenthalts einfach nur maximal unwohl gefühlt.

Un séjour de rêve
Pros:

Ce n’est pas compliqué, j’ai absolument tout aimé!!!

Le lieux, la bâtisse principale et les annexes sont somptueux! Nous avons dormi dans la maisonnette, tout était parfait, une vue magnifique, propre et spacieux! D’un calme extraordinaire.

Le petit déjeuner, le restaurant pour déjeuner ainsi que celui du soir était aussi parfait, qualité, choix et service parfait! Une vue à couper le souffle matin, midi et le soir 🤩🤩🤩

Mais le plus gros point positif, qui nous a rendu le séjour parfait, reste ❤️LE SERVICE DU PERSONNEL❤️, que ce soit les serveurs ou le personnel de l’hôtel ils ont été extraordinaires! Et je tiens tout particulièrement à remercier la dame qui s’occupe de toutes vos demandes par whatsapp, elle a été fabuleuse!🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌

Si vous cherchez un endroit calme et reposant en Italie, n’hésitez pas, c’est ici qu’il faut aller!!!!!!

Vackert för öga och själ
Pros:

Extremt vackert, lugnt och skönt. Fantastiskt utsikt. God mat i restaurangen, bra frukost i fantastiskt miljö. Fina växter. Vissa av personalen var supertrevliga och fixade lunch till oss fast klockan var 14:30. Elena i receptionen pratar perfekt svenska!

Cons:

Lite dåligt tryck i kranarna. Det var allt.

A place to remember. A place to want to come back to.
Pros:

This property we will always remember. Our apartment was big and full of lovely details. The windows were modern, but still authentic. The view was stunning. Our private terrace was a big bonus. The kids loved the pool. There were few sundbeds, but more sunbeds in the garden. Best of all: the terrace for dinner. What a view with lovely surroundings! The breakfast was really good.

Pros:

Le personnel est vraiment gentil, le restaurant excellent avec une vue magnifique!
Propreté impeccable.
Possibilité de laisser les vélos électriques en securité.

Cons:

Le seul défaut est l'acoustique, mais comme l'hôtel est calme et très petit, ce n'est pas vraiment un problème

Pros:

Zeer lekker eten, zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten. Hier eten is een aanrader. Veel beter ga je niet vinden in de directe omgeving.

Cons:

Wij verbleven in de periode van 40°. Airco blies alleen maar wat lucht rond. Een technieker heeft dit nagekeken maar zonder veel succes. Dit mag en kan niet in een 4sterren hotel, hier moet onmiddellijk een andere oplossing voor worden geboden.

Friendly staff, beautiful views and authentic hotel.
Pros:

We had a wonderful 9 night stay at Villa Sermolli for our Honeymoon. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The hotel had beautiful views with many quiet places to sit around the villa. We enjoyed the pool (which was very near our room) and sitting on the terrace in the evenings. Breakfast was exceptional and we also enjoyed the meals we had in the restaurant with incredible sunset views. We also liked how we could walk to and from the station and get to Lucca, Florence and Monetcatini Terme for day trips (down hill, steep uphill 15minute walk on the way back but they picked us up on arrival). We loved that there was a complete mix of nationalities staying. If you want an alternative to the excellent hotel restaurant walk into town- find authentic local cuisine at La Taverna del Vin Vino, for excellent pizza surrounded by locals go to Pizzeria Aurora!

Cons:

We loved walking to other villages but it was too hot for long walks for most of our stay (we want to come back in the future in a cooler month).

An extra mirror in the room would be useful

Pros:

L'endroit est merveilleux, dans les hauteurs, et très authentique. L'appartement était très beau et confortable, avec une grande terrasse privative idyllique.
Le restaurant est délicieux avec une superbe vue.
Petite piscine mais très agréable à l'heure du petit déjeuner.

Cons:

L'accès est un peu difficile avec les valises, il manque peut être de place de parking. Rien à voir avec l'hôtel mais les moustiques sont très agressifs le soir sur la terrasse...
Il manque peut être de place autour du lavabo pour poser les affaires.

Un bon séjour dans sa globalité
Pros:

L’hôtel est très joli et typiquement toscane, sur une colline dans un tout petit village. Il faut un véhicule pour visiter les alentours ou dîner à l’extérieur. La chambre était spacieuse, coquette et très propre. Le jardin et les espaces petits déjeuners et dîners en extérieur sont magnifiques. Le personnel est très serviable et chaleureux. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très bien et le restaurant également pour un bon rapport qualité prix. Un excellent séjour.

Cons:

La piscine est petite et seulement quelques transats qui sont occupés en permanence. Je n’ai malheureusement pas pu en profiter. Ce n’est pas vraiment la faute de l’établissement… un peu de courtoisie de la part de tous permettrait à chacun de pouvoir en profiter ! Beaucoup d’allemands et de nord européens en ce mois de juillet

Overall it was very nice, we loved how it relaxing it was!
Pros:

It was beautiful, nice views from terraces, cool pool, comfortable beds, and tasty breakfast and pasta for lunch and dinner! The resort staff was helpful, they were super nice and picked us up in their quad and brought us to train station on our last day.

Cons:

We had some ants in our apartment, our server at the restaurant was kinda forgetful, and the hot tub didn’t heat up.

Pros:

Paradiesisches Hotel. Anlage ist terrassenförmig angelegt und bietet so viele verschiedene Bereiche, ob zum Essen, zum Trinken, zum Schlafen, Sonnen oder Baden. Es wird gehalten, was versprochen wird. Personal sehr freundlich. Ferienwohnung in authentischem Stil und großzügig. Gute Küche, tolles Frühstück. Unser Aufenthalt war ein Erlebnis!
