The A/C in the room don’t work. It’s really just a fan. We had to sleep with windows open for extra air but didn’t really work since you have to shut the heavy curtains to make the room dark.

Excellent location, spacious rooms, amazing deal.
Pros:

The location was excellent, the rooms were very nice and the house was beautiful. The front gate guard on duty when we arrived was very polite and helpful. Our room was ready early, so we were able to come in and get settled as soon as we got there.

The neighborhood is safe and very high-end. Endless options for great food (and luxury shopping, if you're into that) within walking distance.

Cons:

Some of the other guards during our stay were not very pleasant. The rooms have names that we could not remember, and some of the guards asked for our room name whenever we left in the morning, and told us what time check-out was, despite the fact that we weren't leaving for another few days.

Stunning building, excellent location, great value, comfy bed, quiet street, kind staff.
Pros:

Excellent location- close to cafes, restaurants, shops, and near a lovely park. I was debating about Polanco, but my daughter and I loved our morning walks on tree-lined streets and evening wanders with all the people out at restaurants and cafes. There is no reception per se, but the person at the front gate and the cleaner were helpful and kind. It was an easy walk to the Anthropology Museum, with a coffee and croissant in hand. Snacks, coffee, and tea were made available. Very clean, quiet, and calm, and the building, an 1900 home, is just beautiful. Our local friends said many such buildings were torn down as Polanco was developed in the 1930-1940s. So glad this one remains!

Cons:

Our air conditioner didn't work well, and we were warm a few nights. That's my only complaint- it was wonderful otherwise!

Pros:

A lovely, relaxing stay in a great neighborhood. Easy walk to Chapultepec Park and the amazing Anthropology museum and lots of great restaurants a few steps away. Would highly recommend and will return for my next stay in CDMX. Thank you, Casa Amari!

Very reasonably priced property in fantastic location.
Pros:

Wonderful location, very comfortable room and lovely shower and very comfortable bed

Cons:

One small niggle is that the metal staircase which you have to go up to access your room was quite noisy when other people use the staircase.
It would be also nice to have the use of a Laundry.
