Uptown Parksuites II

When we arrived, someone was going into our room saying it was their room. We tried to no avail to reach the host and ended up going to the front desk who contacted the host, and they said the room would be ready at 2 pm instead of 1pm which was agreed to. The elevator situation is so bad that we and other guests used the stairs instead of waiting for extended lengths of time for the elevator. I think the last straw was when my wife wanted to go swimming and we were told she could not because it was a holiday. We knew it was a holiday, that is why we were there. We will not be back.

1. Registering at the property to get into the room is troublesome! 2. The shower was luke warm! No hot water! 3. basic amenities were not provided (no drinking water. No shampoo and the hand soap in the toilet had run out). 4. The lifts are so busy at peak hours that I could not get into the lift and had to wait for the next one on more than one occasion. 5. No guest policy caught me by surprise! It inconvenienced me as I had wanted to prepare a presentation with a colleague. In the end we had to find an external venue!

I stayed here for a business trip to Manila, thinking I chose a good location, and while the host was nice, the facilities were terrible. The first night, the air conditioner leaked, causing the wall to get soaked and resulting in loud dripping noises all night, making it impossible to sleep. On the second day, the water heater broke but was fixed promptly. However, on the third night, the water heater pipe burst, causing water to leak all night again, which meant no sleep at all. Every single day of my business trip, I couldn't rest properly, and there was no refund offered. It was an awful experience. The house also has terrible soundproofing. Additionally, I found out that the gym was not accessible to guests, even though it was advertised. This place might be okay for personal use, but it should not be rented out to others.

The facilities in the room could use a little maintenance but the host was quick to resolve any issue. Patricia was very responsive.

It didn't provide soap or body wash, only shampoo, but it looks like samples and has been used for a long time.
The elevator is suck! One of them is always under-maintained, and three served for the entire building are not enough. Always wait a long cue to get into it. It is inconvenient to enter and exit the front door, and only the ladder does not provide the glide or an elevator. If you have a large suitcase like me, it is inconvenient.
