Farm Inn Seisetsukan

We loved our farm stay. Fuji San was amazing. She was warm and welcoming and a credible cook. The property was a great base from which to explore the surrounding ski resorts. The beds are comfortable, there’s a great shower room and laundry and a well equipped kitchen. Fuji San stoked the fire every morning and evening to ensure we were toasty warm. We had a hire car which enameled us to explore this beautiful area.

The host is friendly and warm and the meals were sumptuous with a good variety of vegetables from the farm.

Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe von Kakonodate und dem Tazawa-See und unmittelbar (10 Minuten Fußweg) an der berühmten Smile-Rail-Privatbahnstrecke (Akita-Nairiku-Railway), mit der man auch von Kakonodate aus dorthin kommt. Landschaftlich reizvoll. Gastgeberin außergewöhnlich! Alle Menschen, mit denen wir vor Ort Kontakt hatten, äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Enjoyed our stay here by the country side. The place is very spacious. the food that fuji-san cooked are very yummy too. a very authentic Japanese style experience. will definitely come back here again.

Ms Fuji was expecting us when we got to her farm house. We were the only ones booked for the night. Excellent place in the middle of nowhere. Special mention on the meals , they were excellent an very yummy. We enjoyed our stay for the night very much. She was an excellent host.

We loved our stay with Fuji-san! She is so sweet, and she and her mom cooked us absolutely delicious food. The house is located on the beautiful country-side just a short train-ride from Kakunodate. The room to sleep in is gorgeous and very spaceous. We hope to come back one day!:)

Fuji San is the hostess with the mostest. She made you feel so very welcome. She spoke good English which was helpful.
It was like a home way from home accommodation. Views of the fields were amazing. We got the half board and the food was fabulous. Would totally recommend staying there.

We loved our stay at Farm Inn Seisetsukan. Fuji-san is the best host you could hope for and her food is exceptional.

The host, Fuji-san was the friendliest, even speaking with us with a little mandarin, and even in the late autumn-early winter weather, the surrounding environment of the farmhouse and fields was still great to be in! :) The meals were also immaculately prepared and the kiritanpo-making experience was really one to remember!!

All meals are good and the hostel has excellent services, we feel very warm and welcome. She knows exactly when we’re awake and come to our room to set up fire for us during this cold weather.
Will refer more friends to visit!

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Beautiful dahlia flowers and various vegetables on the farm. Would recommend this farm stay.

We are delighted with our stay! The kind lady at the hotel waited for us late into the night so we could check in, and she was always incredibly friendly. She also took into account my gluten intolerance and prepared a delicious and plentiful breakfast, all gluten-free. Staying at this hotel feels like being at home. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we will be back!
