Our first time to stop and will on all our future travels

Great location and beautiful cabin. Had earplugs on bedside table initially thought they were chocolates!! In the middle of the night realised what they were for The Train Horn, if you’re a light sleeper you should wear them and receptionist should warn you of the need. Not affecting my overall experience of this great property and will be back for skiing.

I didn't realize that I would be staying in the property across the street from the cabins & lovely resort - in an old motel they own. Very disappointing. I'm not sure if it was because I was travelling with my dog and if so, I would have liked to know that in advance and wouldn't have booked and then pay $50 for my pet. I expected a lovely accommodation.

It's a basic motel. It wasn't bad, it's just the same as many motels, which try to save on everything. If it was also cheap it would be fine - you get what you've paid. But it wasn't. In my opinion it's too overpriced for the basic level of comfort they ofer. I expected for more.

We didnt stay but we book the room for one night, and arrived after 8 pm, amd reception centre was closed, they left the key in the glass box which is all fine. After we found our place, the common area and our suit lights are so yellow, and dark. Also the smell when we enter the little house. We also found spider webs in the bathroom and our suit lights. Two gaint moths flying around in our room. Toilet in the bathroom is dated so as the sink; hardly can turn off the tap. We just left, didn't stay for the night, very disappointed, kids was looking forward to spend the night in a cottage house like this. Wouldn't recommend this place.

The property is generally well kept and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Saddle Mountain motel is old but offers a good value and is clean. Worth it. Only complaint is they need to pickup trash left on the lawn and walkway along the motel rooms. There was a used face mask and towelette wipe on the false grass in front of my room. The restaurant is excellent.

We really enjoyed our walk around Eleanor Lake and Blue River. Safe, beautiful and lots of wildlife and edible plants! The only downside was we found the bed uncomfortable.

The property was good but we weren’t prepared to be so far from other places we chose to visit during the day.

Nothing fancy about our room - in older motel across the road from the main complex. We reserved for the price and were satisfied with what we got. Nicer and quieter than the Sandman Inn, down the road, where we have stayed before. What we WERE impressed with was the restaurant. Next time travelling through Blue River, if we are hungry, we are stopping here for sure.

I did not like the low flow shower head. Other than that it was Great

We loved our stay. We will stay again.

Room was tired with a few issues with lights and fridge door not working and hanging off

Your ad for the property was for the motel across the highway we paid an additional 90$ to stay in one of the cabins

i thought i was booking a room at a nice 4 star hotel with log cabins. i was a bit confused by how cheap it was. the room i actually ended up with felt like it was a reno-ed high end jail cell rather than a motel. the tub could not hold water and the lights in the bath room could only stay on if there was a fan on or if this horribly obnoxious egg timer was going. i got what i paid for but damn this was a disappointment. should have been advertised as a separate 1 star hotel rather than wrapping it up with the 4 star. i wont say i was robbed or mislead but what i got was not even remotely close to my expectations. very dissapointed.

Bed was uncomfortable. Other than that very nice property.
