Pros:

After looking for many options in Manas National Park we chose to stay at Manas Jungle Retreat and it met our expectations. Food served was delicious. Breakfast options were very good. Very cooperative staff. We didn't expect to have wifi in that remote area but they have high speed wifi.

Peaceful and beautiful
Pros:

It was a peaceful stay amidst nature. The resort has been carefully maintained. The staff was very friendly and served very good food. It was very clean and hygienic. We liked walking around the resort in the evening and it was a very good experience.

Overpriced considering the facilities and coordination provided by other properties like MUSA

Cleanliness and the quality of food.

Cons:

The parking space and some of its staff, particularly the one named Sanjib. In parking space, my car’s windshield got damaged by a bouncing pebble. Hence a proper tiled parking space would avoid such damages in future. Secondly the manipulations done by the staff named Sanjib thru park fees and safari Gypsy booking amount. Management should take proper actions to ensure better stay and overall experience.
Another point which booking.com should address- is the lodging billed amount. There was a mismatch. While booking, it was showing ₹9524, but the billed amount was ₹10080. There should be a parity - and it has to be addressed by booking.com

Peaceful location. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Although thestaff were friendly, there was very poor service - e.g. no clearing up of rooms, no water provided in room unless asked for etc The food options were very limited although good portions.

In the jungle, but with a lot of comfort and hominess.
Pros:

We enjoyed our two nights in a comfortable and calm cabin at Manas Jungle Retreat. The room was clean, cozy and charming, overlooking a pasture. The terrific staff took care of everything, arranging our ride from the train station, our safari through Manas National Park, and all meals which were cooked to order. In short, our stay was pleasant, and we thank the staff for hosting us.

Cons:

In such a calm and beautiful location, it was a little frustrating to hear the sounds of gas powered weed trimmers early in the morning. I would have preferred to awaken to the sounds of nature.

A cozy place to stay with family.
Pros:

The staff led by Markus was very cordial and helpful. The food served in the restaurant was also excellent. Special thanks to Markus and kitchen staff for arranging breakfast for us before the normal time. We will definitely go back to them if we visit Manas again.

Superb
Pros:

The room was spacious and had all the amenities one may expect from a jungle resort. They provided us with room heater also. The service and behaviour of the staff was very good. The food was homely and properly served. They made arrangements for our Safari also.
Overall a very good place to spend a few days and enjoy the beautiful Jungle Safari at Manas.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Excellent service by the staff, very clean and comfortable. Rooms, beds are excellent and comfortable.
The manager was very quick to respond.

Cons:

Food was OK and it could have been better. They use very less salt.

Amazing stay … great food … awesome location
Pros:

Quaint set up … with all the possible amenities.. warm welcome .. polite staff and brilliant homely cooked food … absolutely worth staying here and having a private time with your loved one’s.
The room set up beside a natural stream … accessible via the property … near to Manas National Park. Good .. affordable homely food … helpful staff … Manisha made our stay comfortable and helped us with baby food … safari etc.
