Le caravanserail est superbement restauré avec des materiaux de qualité. Les chambres sont magnifiques, très propres et super confortables. Le diner était copieux et tres bien cuisiné et le personnel très avenant. Nous y referons halte à notre retour de Cappadoce!

Dieses Hotel ist ein echtes Erlebnis – eingebettet in ein Museum, strahlt es eine einzigartige Atmosphäre aus, die Tradition und Moderne auf höchstem Niveau vereint. Die Einrichtung besteht aus Antiquitäten, bei denen jedes Detail stimmt. Man spürt sofort: Hier wurde mit Herz und Hingabe gestaltet.

Auch kulinarisch wird man hier verwöhnt: Esra und ihr Team begeisten mit reichhaltigen Mahlzeiten aus frisch zubereiteten regionalen Spezialitäten. Die Vielfalt und Qualität der Speisen sind herausragend.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal, insbesondere Gül: außergewöhnlich freundlich, engagiert und stets mit einem offenen Ohr für die Gäste. Man fühlt sich nicht nur willkommen, sondern wirklich umsorgt. Und alles ist sehr sauber. Das ist der Verdienst von Enes. Es ist offensichtlich, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird – und das macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem.

Fazit: Ein sensationelles Hotel, das Geschichte, Gastlichkeit und Genuss auf unvergleichliche Weise verbindet. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die das Besondere suchen.

I’m surprised this place isn’t more well-known. It’s such a hidden gem — you can enjoy Obrukhan at your own pace, feel the depth of its history, and appreciate the elegant small museum and restaurant on site.
The road at night was quite dark, so I stayed alert on the way, but Sevede, Gül, and all the other staff gave us such a warm welcome that we immediately felt at ease.
My parents were very satisfied, and the food was excellent. I’d love to recommend this place to others!

This place is an oasis to enjoy during your journey. It's a 13th century Caravanserail with history and beauty in every corner. Staff is attentive and professional from check-in to check-out.

Possibly the most unique and surprising ‘hotel’ I have ever stayed at. It is much more than simply an ‘overnight’ - it is an experience. We booked the night before with no real knowledge of what we had booked for - at the start of the off-season, it was not full which made it feel almost private. The four-course included dinner was excellent.

We are cycling across Türkiye and heard about this place from other cyclists. It definitely lived up to expectations. The site renovation is impressive. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and even included a Turkish bath. The food was good and cost included all food and drink, other than coffee and ice cream. Gül and Sevde were very helpful and explained everything clearly to make our stay a great success 😀

The breakfast was great and the stuff was fantastic especially Gull one of them we enjoyed everything and was a good experience and great memories thank you from all the karvansaray stuff we appreciate your service

Otel konum olarak İyi olmasa da obruğun yanında doğa harikası tarihi bir mekan, gün doğumu ve batımı harika, odaları bakımından, servis iyi ve personel oldukça ilgili yemekler çok güzel ve özel, kahvaltı çok güzel içecek ve diğer ikramlar ortam ambiyans çok güzel. Kesinlikle deneyimlenmesi gereken bir yer. Sadece su içme ve diş fırçalama kullanımı açısından sürekli servis gerekiyor ama bu konuda da ilgililer ve çözüm odaklılar.

Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Wir wurden von Frau Gül sehr nett betreut. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren sehr reichhaltig. Alles wurde am schön gedeckten Tisch serviert. Das Zimmer ist gut eingerichtet und sehr schön dem alten Gebäude angepasst. Wir liebten es eine Nespressomaschine im Zimmer zu haben. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

It was a great experience to stay at this museum hotel, staff was great and very accommodating, they treated us with great care and respect, food service was excellent. Can't wait to go back there again.

Gorgeous historic cara

Einzigartige Unterkunft, tolles Zimmer aber im Gebäude etwas gerümpelig, überall standen Matratzen und Restmöbel herum.Dafür fand ich es zu teuer. Es gibt in der Nähe kaum was zum anzuschauen.
1 Nacht ist genug. Das Personal spricht kaum englisch ( Rezeption), nur türkisch. Das kostenlose Abendessen waren Spagetti Bolognese und Salat.

I don’t often write reviews, but for this property I will.

It is one of the most unique “hotels” I have come across in my traveling experience, if you can call it a hotel.

This site used to be a “Kervanseray” and was used as a resting stop by travelers (and their beasts) hundreds of years ago.

The property was recently restored, and the architecture is magnificent. The amenities are modern (wifi etc), and yet And the serenity takes you back in time.

The service provided by the staff makes you feel at home. The meals taste and seem home cooked.

If you are in Turkey, visit this place, and pay respects to Rumi the next day which is not far from this “hotel”.

We cannot express enough gratitude for the amazing stay we had at Obruk. It was truly a magical experience in every possible way. We had originally planned to stay in Konya but detoured on our road trip after seeing it on Google and ARE SO GLAD WE DID. The care and attention of this place is incredible. I've never stayed in a nicer place and the food was delicious. Our time here will take a prime spot in our memories of Turkiye! Perfect stop for a Turkiye road trip!

This museum hotel is a wonderfully renovated 800 year old building in the middle of nowhere. The hotel opened only a few months prior to my visit and I was therefore one of the few hotel guests and treated like royalty. My guess is that soon more guests will arrive and this -in my view 5 star- hotel will soon become immensely popular, especially with people who look for a solo retreat or a romantic stay. There is not much to do, but due to its rich history and comfortable vibe, it's interesting and a great place to study, relax and meet people. It has a library! The rooms are cosy with its old stone walls, antique rugs and woodwork, yet each room is also fitted with a Dyson purifier, a Smeg fridge and kettle and your own little espresso machine! All meals and beverages are included in the price and the food is excellent, also suitable for vegetarians. The hotel staff is what makes your stay really fantastic. Upon arrival your personal guide awaits you and they will take care of you for the rest of your stay. Almaz, Hussein and Nisa (hope I spell your names right), you guys rock, you are the best! Teşekkür ederim! Rakhmet! 

This is an enchanted place. Beautifully designed rooms that tastefully combine old and new. Staff who is very welcoming, warm, and helpful. The food is fabulous with the chef being very responsive and thoughtful in response to our dietary restrictions. We booked the hotel for one day and stayed for four….and we will come back.
