Die Unterkunft war für unseren Kurzstopp von zwei Nächten ideal.
Pros:

Die Lage mitten in der Stadt und die Ruhe.

Cons:

Eigentlich war alles in Ordnung. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer wäre nett gewesen.

Super-Unterkunft sowohl was Service als auch die zentrale Lage betrifft!
Pros:

Der Rezeptionist war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man bekommt schon beim Einchecken div. Getränkegutscheine für die umliegenden Lokale. Wenn man die Zimmerreinigung nicht so oft in Anspruch nimmt, gibt es weitere Gutscheine.

Mir hat alles gefallen!😃👍

Gefallen hat uns die tolle Lage des Hotels am Hopfenmarkt gleich neben der Kröpeliner Straße - das ist die historische Haupteinkaufsstraße und Flaniermeile im Herzen von Rostock. Es gibt dutzende Geschäfte, Cafés, Restaurants und zahlreiche touristische Ziele sind hier fußläufig zu erreichen, zum Beispiel die Marienkirche mit der astronomischen Uhr, das Rathaus mit der berühmten Rathausschlange, das kulturhistorische Museum, der Brunnen der Lebensfreude, das historische Universitätsgebäude - es gibt rund um das Hotel jede Menge zu entdecken. Parken kann man im Parkhaus unter dem Rostocker Hof, ebenfalls gleich nebenan. Auch bis zum Wasser, der idyllischen Unterwarnow, ist man schnell gegangen. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut, überall in Rostock fahren Straßenbahnen, zum Beispiel vom Neuen Markt zum Hauptbahnhof, von dem man mit der S-Bahn in 25 Minuten nach Warnemünde fahren kann. Die Reinigungskräfte im Hotel waren zuverlässig und sehr nett.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist nicht als Hotel präsent, sondern verteilt sich auf mehrere Gebäude, die keinen Bezug zueinander haben. Der Hopfenmarkt selbst ist nett und bietet Geschäfte, eine Eisdiele, ein Ärztehaus und zwei sehr gute Restaurants: den Hopfenkeller und das Leons, beide empfehlenswert. Aber unser Zimmer war um die Ecke im 4. Stock eines Gebäudes an der Buchbinderstraße mit Blick auf die Büros einer Bank und auf die Solaranlage auf dem dortigen Dach. Wir konnten zwar über das Dach hinweg sehen, hatten also Ausblick bis hinüber zu den sieben Spitzen des Rathauses, aber es gab keinen Sonnenschutz und schon morgens schien die Sonne gnadenlos durch die Glasfensterfront ins Zimmer und das heizte sich sehr schnell extrem auf. Es gab 3 Ventilatoren in Zimmer 405, aber die pusteten die warme Luft nur hin und her. Wir sind während unseres Aufenthalts im Juni 2026 also täglich sehr früh aufgestanden und raus in die Stadt. Das Bad hat kein Fenster.
