Stayed here for an event at Ulker stadium which was 15 minute walk away, and 10 minutes walk from metro station from Istanbul Sabiha Airport line (although walk is a little hilly in places). There is also 4 story shopping mall and numerous restaurants just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel is new so rooms including bathrooms are nicely refurbished and spacious and it's nice to see a small basic style hotel in Turkey have a lift and provide tea and coffee facilities as well as nice soft towels. Compared to other Turkish city hotels I've stayed in at a similar price this is of a good standard and would happily stay again.
Firstly I had trouble finding it as the hotel has a different name on the front (probably the old hotel name before the refurb) and had to rely on Google maps and pictures from hotel page to work out I had the correct place. When I checked in the two people on reception didn't speak any English so had to use translation website to communicate as there was a little confusion as I had changed my reservation from 3 nights to 1, but got there in the end. You do get a bit of street noise but due to location I kind of guess it is to be expected. There are no light switches next to the bed, so although the room has a full light and soft mood light setting you have to get out of bed and turn them off at the one and only switch by the door, as there are also no bedside lights. Finally, you have these lovely refurbished bathrooms and then there are these old metal soap and shampoo dispensers that look like they are from a public bus station rest room, and just look out of place where if they got some nice ones in the style of the refurbished bathroom it would look so much better.
