However, the bathroom water was disappointing, as if it came straight from the nearby lake. This takes away from the overall experience, especially when everything else is at a fairly good standard. In the first room that we were in, drainage in the shower didn't work properly, and there was a strange smell coming from the AC when it was on, since the rest of the rooms were occupied we had to wait till the next day to be transferred to another one as that was the only solution that was offered to us, so we had to spend the night without almost any sleep. We have paid full price of the stay even tho one of the staff members confirmed that the room was not proper. Second room was satisfying.

The roms could be more clean. Showe wasnt cleaned in a while, that was obvious. Awful smell. Difficult to manage right temperature when showering

We arrived about 8.00pm and were shown to our rooms, only to be told there was no air conditioning as they were having an issue with the electricity and generator. The temperature was in the high 20's, even at that time, so the room was really, really hot and sticky. We went to the bar where we were served warm beers by a very unfriendly member of staff, the beers were warm because the fridge was not working.
At 11pm I was told by the same member of staff to 'go to bed' as they were closing and wanted to go home. On going back to my room it was in darkness due to an issue with a fuse. I had to come back and find a member of staff who didn't speak English. He was helpful enough but I had to stand outside my room for 30 minutes whilst they summoned the electricians to fix the issue. I thought about a wash before bed but the water coming out the tap was brown and smelled foul.
I went to sleep only to wake up a short time later to find the electricity had failed in the entire hotel and didn't come back on until 7am the next morning.
