Pros:

family room size very good

Cons:

only hot water for 15 mins until the cold water came through, it was scolding hot - could not get through on phone to reception as mail box full, son had to go to reception - they told him to run tap for longer.

I felt like Kevin McCallister from Home Alone
Pros:

The room.had everything I needed, it had a restaurant with a bar and it even had a gym.

Cons:

The only issue I had was the hot water was scalding when I went to go take a shower but it was quickly rectified by the staff who let me access another room to use the washing facilities.

Great for sports related stays especially, very close to the Uni campus.
Pros:

My son and I visit Loughborough quite often and we usually book this hotel, it is often where other athletes also stay and is a reasonable price. The rooms are big enough and always clean, the beds are comfy and there is always plenty of parking, often right outside the door. There is a Harvester within a couple of minutes walk if you want some change, but the restaurant food is really good value and always good quality. The breakfasts and restaurant area are set up so that guests are comfy but also for sports related customers with healthy options for breakfast, ideal for a busy day of sports on the uni campus, there is plenty of room for teams to all sit together but also areas where smaller groups of 1/2 can sit and not feel out of place.

Cons:

the area is not the best to walk around, there is not much there BUT we are there just to stay overnight and eat and always have plans elsewhere, so this is not a problem to us.

RIPPED OFF
Pros:

Pretty standard really but nice range of tea/coffee.

Cons:

Ended up being chased out by staff demanding I pay (already paid through booking.com) so ended up paying twice for the stay.

Good value for money
Pros:

The staff were lovely, the bed was well made and the room was clean.

Cons:

The bathroom was a little dirty and not kept as well. There was also an issue with the hot water which was very inconvenient as we had to wait 2 hours to shower.
