Loved it. Already booked too stay again next month for another theatre trip. Taking friends too!
Pros:

We loved our stay at The Vestry. It’s conveniently located with everything you need on your doorstep. Very impressed with the room, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom.

Staff are absolutely lovely. So helpful and attentive.

Cons:

Our room faced a main road in front which was extremely noisy till very late. Because we had to keep the only window open due to the heat we couldn’t block the noises with the double glazing. A/c needed.
As it was above a pub the floors and tables downstairs were rather sticky and off putting.

A good time with really great staff

Location, excellent breakfast, superb staff

Cons:

Furnishings a little worn, wardrobe/dressing table especially. Probably not a lot that can be done about it being very hot weather but some sort of air con would have helped but doubt if practical in a building of this age

Pros:

Great location whilst at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. You can get a shuttle bus from the train station 5 minutes walk away and leave your car at the hotel. Breakfast served at 6.30 to accommodate for the festival, however we left at 6.30 so didn't get chance to have breakfast, but they gave us coffee to take away. There are lots of good reviews on the breakfast.

Cons:

High price while the festival was on, but most hotels do the same, so no different.

Wir wussten, dass das Hotel genau sehr zentral genau über einem Pub liegt. Da wir aber am Sonntag angereist waren, sollte die nächtliche Lautstärke kein Problem darstellen. Allerdings kam dann die "gute Nachricht", dass wegen der Fußball-WM und dem nächtlichen Spiel der englischen Mannschaft das Pub die gesamte Nacht auf Sonntag geöffnet blieb - für uns eine nicht ganz so gute Nachricht - wir haben es überlebt!

Cons:

Wegen der Temperaturen mussten wir die Fenster geöffnet lassen, sodass der nächtliche Lärm des Pubs ziemlich stark war.

hola la habitacion muy bien y aunque el hotel tenga la licencia de local para Karaoke, a penas habia ruido en la habitacion. El sayuno muy bien con varias opciones de desayuno ingles a elegir . lo recomiendo cien por cien

In general very good.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Location was excellent as well.

Cons:

Air con would have helped. Hand rail on stairs dirty. We found stair gripper on carpet had come off and was put at top of stairs. Otherwise it was OK.

Clean and comfy, just a little noisy

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff & service were very good 😊

Cons:

Noise.....we booked this very last minute as we let down by the original place we booked. The rooms are above the bar and it is a very lively student bar. It does say that music goes on late and it does. 2am!
