Location is good & property nearly done up.

Cons:

The air conditioner in the room we were staying in was not cooling the room. As ours was a late check in, we could not complain in the middle of night & had a disturbed night with no proper sleep and their ceiling fan also did not function properly at high speed. Horrible experience with a defective air conditioner & disappointed because there was no kids pool, as we had booked this property especially for our kids & they were not allowed to swim in the pool!!

A comfortable and memorable stay and dining option in Mysore.
Pros:

We always stay at Southern Star once a year when we visit Mysore. It is always a wonderful experience. The staff is courteous and very helpful. Especially wheb the hotel was flooded with foreign guests. A huge shoutout and special mention for DEEPA S & MANU who went above their call of duty to accommodate health requests and ensured a comfortable experience. Breakfast buffet is the best dining experience and we cherish the pastry variety and cheesecake options. Will visit soon. Parceled their amazing Titamisu cheesecake for a celebration back home. Foreign guests are handled very politely and their requests handled patiently. I would highly recommend Southern Star to foriegn tourists.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor een bijziende aan Mysore.
Pros:

Het hotel ligt op een goede afstand tot het paleis. 10 min met de tuk tuk, 40 roepie. Kamer is ruim en netjes

Cons:

Kwaliteit van het eten bij ontbijt viel tegen. De gebakjes die in de lobby te koop zijn waren heerlijk.

Breakfast spread was good, but the bakery items like Croissiants, Danish pastry were very dense and not good. Need improvement in Baking section.

מיקום נוח ושקט. חדר מרווח גם ל3 מבוגרים . מקלחת טובה זרם מים חזק. ארוחת בוקר מגוונת. פארבין אחראי הקומה דואג לכל בקשה קטנה. המסאג' היה טוב.

A good property loosing its value due to poor maintenance and upkeep.

Staff was well behaved and responsive.
Room was spacious.

Cons:

Poor maintenance. You touch the towel hanger, it will come off. Bathrooms was the worst part - Broken bathroom shelf, old mirrors, very old and dirty looking towels etc.

Central, comfortable and relaxing
Pros:

This is a luxury property and very well maintained. The staff is very responsive to needs and helpful in sorting logistics. Breakfast is delicious.

Cons:

We had dinner here one night and it was just OK. Pricey for the quality.
