民宿是一幢有150年的老房子，艺术氛围好，非常漂亮。我们在这里拍了很多照片。床品干净，整洁，老板很友好！原订房价是不含早餐的。但老板请管家给我们做了非常丰盛的免费早餐。我们在超市买了蔬菜，海鲜，免费借用了他们的大厨房做中国餐。太OK了。如果再来一定还会入住这家民宿的哦。也会向好友推荐这家民宿的。

Beautiful colonial casa with the most friendly host
Pros:

The host was super friendly and kind and even offered to cook me dinner which turned out to be the best meal I had in Sri Lanka so far! The House is beautiful and very clean with comfortable beds and sofas to relax on as well as a cute pool

Cons:

It’s a bit far way from town on foot but still easy to access and plus side is it’s very quiet

Beautiful, but more like an Airbnb
Pros:

Old Dutch house beautifully restored. Everything is very clean and modern.

Cons:

It's more an Airbnb than a hotel. You get 1 beautiful room out of 3 inside a beautiful house, but it doesn't feel like a hotel. There's no lobby or dining room, every going in and out is supervised by the housekeeper.
Got into a weird argument with the housekeeper about the temperature in the air conditioner (it was set at 35° and he didn't want me to touch it) and about whether I could order breakfast (he kept saying breakfast wasn't included in my reservation, which was true, but I still wanted to order it).
Location is a minus. Since there's no dining room, you need to go out for dinner. Unless you order a taxi or tuktuk, you need to walk quite a few blocks in the dark and without sidewalks in a very non-tourist location.
Wifi was shaky — both reception and bandwidth.

Las ventanas de la habitación no tiene cristales. No limpiaron la habitación. La cama suplementaria era durísima. Aparecieron 6 CUCARACHAS en el baño y el encargado no estaba disponible , tuvimos que matarlas y retirarlas nosotras.

Pros:

The villa was absolutely beautiful — full of charm with its colonial architecture and impeccably clean throughout. The pool was crystal clear and incredibly inviting, but the real highlight was the outstanding service from Mohan and Sasha.

On Saturday night, heavy rain kept us from going out, so we decided to dine at the villa. Mohan graciously offered to cook for us. He went out to buy fresh ingredients and prepared an incredible prawn curry and perfectly grilled tuna. One member of our group couldn’t handle spicy food, and Mohan even made a separate milder version just for her — such thoughtful service!

Every morning, breakfast was generous, varied, and absolutely delicious. This villa is fantastic value for money, and we’d definitely come back — in fact, we didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful stay, Mohan was brilliant!
Pros:

The property was very tranquil and neatly tucked away off the beaten track. Mohan and his team were exceptional from start to finish. Probably the best place to stay in Galle for an authentic experience. From freshly made roti and string hoppers, to celebrating my wife’s birthday with a surprise cake and the massive pool, can’t think of anything to top it. Thanks again for a brilliant stay and wonderful service.

Cons:

Nothing - every accommodation needs a Mohan.

Amazing stay at a boutique heritage property
Pros:

Green Casa is an amazing oasis in the heart of bustling Galle! The beautifully restored heritage property is a wonderful balance of old-world charm and contemporary design. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the pool area was perfect for a swim or simply lounging with a book.

Mohan took such great care of us - always smiling and ready to help us with whatever we needed, including arranging massages for our parents that they really enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious and prepared fresh - we truly enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan home-style cooking. It was also lovely meeting Harsha, the owner, who was very thoughtful and kind. We can't wait to return here on our next visit to Galle and can't recommend this place enough to others!
