Villa Rumassala Luxury Chalets Unawatuna

We had a lovely stay at villa Rumassala, so much so we have arranged to return already.
The staff are lovely and very attentive and the location is perfect, about a 20/25 minute walk to Unawatuna beach or a quick tuktuk journey if you don’t enjoy walking.
Breakfast was lovely also with lots of options . We also had a room with a kitchen and they supplied everything that we needed to make meals etc

Very peaceful stay here! Great location for a day trip to Galle and experience night life of Unawatuna. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay, highly recommend! Thank you x

We absolutely loved our villa. It was incredibly lush, with amazing space, beautiful design, and stunning views. The heated pool was very relaxing. Highly recommend.

Hot water - yes. Water preasure - yes. Comfortable bed- yes and we did request more pillows since the original ones were flat. The staff is kind and would assist when there was a problem. The hotel is located down a long road away from the busy road. The long road is filled with potholes and quite narrow. It is treacherous after a rain because of the deep puddles and the splashing mud of a passing tuktuk or car.

Огромный номер, с холодильником, кухней, даже стиральная машина есть. Очень красивый вид, окна в пол, с утра видно рассвет. Перед номером есть кресла и столик, чтобы сидеть и наслаждаться видами.

• La chambre : Un confort exceptionnel ! La literie est de très haute qualité, ce qui garantit de superbes nuits.
• Le service & l'accueil : À notre arrivée, le personnel a été d'une gentillesse et d'une aide remarquables.
• La table : Le restaurant est un vrai point fort de l'établissement, nous nous sommes régalés à chaque repas.
• Les équipements : La présence d'une machine à laver est un "petit plus" extrêmement pratique pour les voyageurs. Le Wi-Fi est également très performant.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit großzügigen Zimmern. Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend, hat uns mit den Koffern , Shuttleservices und Ausflugsbuchungen geholfen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten als Familie eine tolle Zeit

Mimoriadne príjemný a ústretový personál je najväčším plusom hotela. Izby sú veľké, čisté a postele sú veľmi pohodlné. Raňajky chutné s bohatým výberom a príjemným prostredím. Veľmi málo komárov v celom areáli.

The place is just fantastic. So good environment. You feel so welcomed from the very beginning. The staff is very attentive and caring. They are lovely people. Rooms are extremely clean, spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast is a mix of Sri Lankan with Continental options so as European you don’t need to worry :)
They organised for guests a special fire show which was presenting Sri Lankan culture even better alongside with typical Sri Lankan dinner.
If we are ever back to Unawatuna this is our choice for accommodation - no doubts!

This boutique hotel is very nice located very close to the shops and restaurants. The rooms are spectacular, especially the suites have everything you need from a small kitchen, washing machine, big bathroom and a nice mosaic bath tube. Special thanks to the guys who very kindly brought up the luggage from the reception.

Villa Rumassala liegt etwas ab vom Schuss, dadurch hat man aber einfach den schönsten Ausblick überhaupt und es ist wunderbar ruhig.
Wir hatten das höchste Chalet, das wunderschön war, was jedoch bedeutete, dass man mehr als 150 Stufen hochlaufen musste, da es momentan noch keinen Fahrstuhl gibt. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, das vorher zu wissen, da man doch mehrmals am Tag hoch und runter gehen musste.
Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft perfekt, tolles Personal, gutes Frühstück, angenehmer Pool.

Beautiful property, very clean and luxurious room and facilities! Staff was also incredibly kind — eager to help, complimentary upgrades and coffee, etc.

Really nice setting. Really lovely staff. We booked a double chalet but our friend’s accommodation (at a different hotel) fell through so we asked (when we arrived) if we could add another guest. The staff were very accommodating and said it was no problem- they also upgraded us to a family chalet so we had more room for 3 (we only paid a little extra but not for the upgrade). Breakfast had a lot of choice and was really delicious. They would leave bottles of water on our balcony for us for when we woke up. The chalet even had a washing machine and kitchen! Was a really relaxing and enjoyable stay!
