Pros:

Grande chambre, lit confortable. Salle d'eau nickel. Chambre tout équipée, parfait. Restaurant très bien, on y mange bien.

Cons:

Pas de chance, d'être tombé sur une journée à 30 degrés, il faisait aussi chaud dans la chambre, sans possibilité d'aerer réellement car de toutes petites fenêtres. Du coup pas dormi de la nuit.

Delightful first visit to the Royal. We will return gor sure!!
Pros:

Warm, friendly, professional reception. Each staff member went out of their way to accommodate our needs.
The hotel is lovely. Nicely decorated yet comfortable.
Given the warm weather we were concerned about the room temperature. Luckily, windows opened wideky and there was a nice fan in the room to circulate the air. This was a necessity given the heatwave.

Cons:

I would like to see a more diverse snd interesting menu for lunch and dinner. It seemed like the options offered were similar to every pub everywhere in Ireland. The boutique and elegant feel deserves a menu to match.

Pros:

L'emplacement face à la mer. La grandeur de la chambre. Le personnel très sympa. Les places de parking sur domaine public juste en face de l'hôtel.
Les petits déjeuners magnifiques.

Cons:

La baignoire "jacuzzi " ne fonctionne pas. La climatisation fait un bruit de vidange par intermittence toute la nuit même lorsque celle-ci est arrêtée. Grandes fenêtres exposées au dessus du bar extérieur qui impose de fermer les rideaux si l'on veut avoir un peu d'intimité. Manque un frigo.

Schönes Hotel in Top Lage!
Pros:

Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Top Lage, direkt am Hafen mit einem großen Garten zum Wasser, mit Bänken und Liegestühlen. Lifemusik am Abend, leckeres Restaurant im Hotel. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Good location, but the restaurant staff were always overwhelmed and bar staff were painfully slow.
Pros:

A beautiful old building. The full time lady at check in was very nice and friendly.

Cons:

The waitstaff were over worked and had a hard time dealing with all of the guests at the restaurant. One waitress, Ava was very good.

Exceptional value for money
Pros:

Fabulous, beautiful quaint old hotel. Comfortable, beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast included, great dinner and cocktails along with relaxed, friendly staff. Tip: if booking a restaurant table request a window table, beautiful harbour views.

Island retreat with great views.
Pros:

I’ve stayed here before and will again. Lovely spot in Knightstown. Lovely rooms well presented, old world charm.

Schönes, aber altes Hotel
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, bequeme Betten

Cons:

Im Bad konnten wir den Handtuchhalter nicht benutzen. Dieser war nur aufgesteckt und fiel runter, sobald man ein Handtuch dran gehangen hat.
Auch als Hotelgast muss man im Restaurant reservieren, sonst bekommt man evtl. keinen Tisch.
