Beautiful hotel in a great location and I would love to stay there again if I return to Bilbao.
Pros:

Ideally situated in old town Bilbao. Beautifully restored boutique hotel. Friendly and helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for us.

Cons:

Difficult to park nearby if you have a lot of luggage but this wasn’t a problem for us.

Bilbao was more beautiful than we expected - very easy to navigate (despite the 44 degrees!). We loved the Basque countr
Pros:

The location could not have been better - close to the tramway and the hop on hop off bus stop. The hotel is quirky and arty but perfect. I loved the bed linen and the bedroom had everything you could wish for. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious but our favourite thing about this hotel is its staff. Each and everyone could not have been more friendly or more helpful.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like - we highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Pros:

Lobby area very beautiful and elegant, a sort of library with historical books. Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, Breakfast was excellent! Definitely can recommend.

Cons:

The bathroom washbasin is not in the bathroom but actually in the room, and slighlty small. We did not mind, but someone who needs a lot of space in the bathroom may find it a bit tight.

Highly-recommended, wonderfully curated hotel in Casco Viejo
Pros:

Terrific property in the heart of Bilbao (walking distance to several great neighborhoods and attractions). Beautiful accommodations and wonderful staff. Breakfast was delicious.

I would recommend this hotel to any solo traveller or couple .
Pros:

I liked everything about this boutique hotel. Could not believe it only had a 2 star rating - it was as good as any 4 star boutique hotel I have stayed in.

Cons:

I cannot think of a single negative comment to give this hotel. The rooms were very well laid out with a fantastic shower and plenty of charging points. The staff (especially Roxanna) were terrific, very helpful and friendly.

Un gioiello nel Casco Viejo: colazione e staff da 10 e lode!

Il Goien Boutique Hotel è stata una scoperta meravigliosa. La posizione è imbattibile, in pieno centro nella zona delle Sette Vie, ma la camera era super silenziosa, con un letto extra large e comodissimo che garantisce un riposo perfetto. Pulizia fantastica e ambiente curato nei minimi dettagli.

Il vero fiore all'occhiello? La colazione! Oltre al buffet, c'è un menu alla carta incluso nel prezzo (senza costi aggiuntivi) con piatti fantastici preparati al momento, come l'avocado toast e le uova alla Benedict: una vera delizia.

Nota di merito per il personale, tutto giovane e di una gentilezza strepitosa, sempre pronto ad aiutarti con il sorriso. Consigliatissimo, ci tornerei subito!

Once we got to the hotel, it was a very nice stay.
Pros:

the hotel was centrally located. Good restaurants near by. Good breakfast with a good selection of food. The staff was friendly and the room was clean

Cons:

If you have a car, it is quite a walk to get to the hotel.

Perfect boutique hotel in the old town
Pros:

Such a perfect hotel for our weekend in Bilbao. Great location in the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room and good shower. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend!

Cons:

Only thing to note is no external view from room but fine for our purpose of a comfortable place to sleep and have breakfast.
