Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Nizwa.
Comfortable twin room. Shower room was very small but functional. Water pressure was brilliant most of the time.
Nice garden/pool areas to hang about and near the city centre but far enough to be peaceful.
Shout out to the female receptionist who was absolutely lovely.

Charming hotel
Pros:

The location of the riad is perfect for exploring Nizwa souk, fort and surrounding area. We enjoyed spending sometime sitting by the small pool in the little suntrap garden of the property and spending the evenings on the balcony.

The riad is very atmospheric and has a lot of character, our room was a good size (twin bed with private bathroom).

Zeta was our host and she was very helpful, nice, always smiling and she keeps the property very clean.

We had an excellent stay here.

Cons:

Only thing to be aware of is that riad is located in the old town so the roads are very narrow - if you're not confident driving down narrow lanes you may want to park at the large car park behind the souk and walk 5 mins to the hotel.

La sensation d'être à la maison était si bonne que tous les petits riens à améliorer ne sont pas si importants...
Dégager tout ce qui traine, les petits travaux pour éviter les fuites d'eau, des routeurs pour un meilleur wifi...

Pros:

Excellent location- walking distance to Souq and fort and restaurants.. Access to outside area and pool and kitchen. Room was very smal,l but totally expected, very comfortable. Friendly staff. Totally laidback vibe. Like being at home!!

Cons:

Parking not always easy to find - a bit of "illegal" parking required but totally do-able!

Pros:

The place had a lovely pool in the backyard and our room overlooked the pool

Cons:

The bathroom was filthy ..taps and shower were grimy! I ended up not using the shower at all... Also didn't like the stairs...it's uncomfortable for me as I have bad knees.

Vrhunsko
Pros:

Vrhunska nastanitev in lokacija, le nekaj korakov od obzidja in trdnjave. Sobica je bila majhna a z vsem kar pootrebuješ. Zelo lično opremljena. Vrt nastanitve z bazenom je čudovit, pravo majhno zavetje pred soncem in vrvežem, polno zelenja, palm in nasadov rož. Hotel nudi tudi polno opremljeno souporabo kuhinje. Preseglo vsa pričakovanja in je bil eden boljših nastanitev na najini poti. Ob prihodu naju je postregla prijazna gospodična, nama ponudila vodo, kavico in datlje. Res priporočam, počutje je bilo zelo domačno.

Cons:

Voda v bazenu ni bila popolnoma čista, tako da nisem tvegala, čeprav so se nekateri gostje normalno kopali.

Keine Luxusherberge, sollte angesichts des Preises aber klar sein. Dennoch: übernachtete dort gut und gerne, würde es auch ein weiteres Mal machen, kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und großes Lob an die Dame, die sich um die Gäste kümmert - sie macht einen klasse Job!

A most enjoyable and authentic place to stay.
Pros:

Fabulous location, Zeta is an amazing cook and made delicious breakfast, Mohammed the owner took us on a wonderful trip up Jabal Ahkbar and showed us the mountain terraced gardens.
