Favorite accommodation in Japan and perfect in Tokyo!
Pros:

This was our first stay in Japan and the Guest House Wagokoro Team went above and beyond. And after 2 weeks of travelling in Japan, this is by far our favorite place that we stayed at. Some things that we really appreciated about this establishment were: reception was always available to answer questions, give recommendations, make calls and and help us navigate nuances of Japan with compassion. We arrived late in the evening and they immediately helped us get settled in and find a nearby place to eat (every place they recommend to eat is delicious!). When we needed to make a call to make a reservation in another city or local restaurant, they immediately called for us. The guest house it located in the perfect place - in a quieter residential neighborhood near public transit but within walking distance to several areas of interest, which we enjoyed more than staying in downtown Tokyo later in our trip. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the lounge is a great space to sit, have morning coffee and plan for the morning. We will surely stay here again when we come back to Toyko and recommend all our family and friends to do the same - thank you guest house wagokoro for an amazing and unforgettable start to our Japan trip.

Pros:

Really friendly staff and the location was nice and quiet. Station was accessible though which was a huge plus

Basically nothing , rooms are a bit small but that’s to be expected and they worked perfectly fine for me as a single person

On vous conseille le restaurant Kurosawa, c'est notre meilleur restau du Japon, super authentique !

Pros:

Location to Nippori station was convenient, great food selections within walking distance, incredible bakery nearby, the staff were absolutely incredible, warm and welcoming. Cannot fault this guest house. Would definitely stay again given the opportunity.
Even left with a beautiful honeymoon gift by Jimmy.

Great hotel in a quiet urban corner of Tokyo.
Pros:

Great staff. Clean facilities. Traditional yet modern. We loved the chill vibes of Nippori.

Cons:

We prepared for the level of accommodation and the area. There were no surprises. Nothing bad to say really.

Pros:

This was our 2nd stay at the hotel and it was a real pleasure. The staff is so friendly and helpful; my son caught a cold during our stay and they gave us the humidifier from their own office and helped us locate a nearby clinic to get medical assistance. Also, they allowed us to use the common area to rest after we checked out and waited to catch our flight home later in the evening. One morning I even saw an old woman wander into the lobby, clearly lost & confused, and the ladies on the front desk took time to sit her down, find out where she was going and hail a cab to get her safely to her destination.
I cannot say enough about how welcome they make their guest feel. For me it's not a hotel...it's another home halfway around the world.
