My wife and I stayed for about 10 days vacationing in Jurmala. The hotel answered all our needs,
Pros:

All you can eat delicious buffet breakfast served until 10am
The all you can eat food was healthy and delicious: porrige, farmers cheese, scrambled eggs, sunny side up, and boiled eggs, sausages, breads, cheese, local specialty salads, extremely delicious pancakes (the east european style), and more.
The location was amazing: facing the pine woods and a quiet residential neighborhood, 10 minutes walk to the beach, 5 min walk to the local train station via a pine woods path.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate reasonable requests
The building is modern, with wide well appointed corridors, public spaces, and rooms. Including a pool table.
The room had a balcony and a wall-to-wall window with a balcony door, which let in plenty of natural light
One side of the hotel faced the pine forest, providing an amazing view from the room
Bicycle rental is available, with 3-speed bikes parked on the property.

Near to the beach Pumpuri
Pros:

Location is great and beach is close. Wonderful place if one prefers the place outside the town, closer to nature. The building itself has low ceilings, a slightly strange feeling like a Soviet-era sanatorium. Breakfast was OK, enough choice. The service staff is friendly and responsive.

Cons:

The bathroom is too narrow, small, not very convenient and comfortable. Low ceilings.

Great hotel in Jurmala, 5 minutes from the beach
Pros:

The rooms are clean and nice and with a beautiful balcony, the staff is friendly, a lot of options for children are available, it is only 5 mimutes from the beach

Cons:

The breakfast is spacious, but does not seem too healthy and the breakfast room feels a bit like in a hospital

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück war insgesamt sehr abwechslungsreich. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Möglichkeit, Speisen am Abend selber warm zu machen.

Der Zug ist hören, da er fast immer hupt.

Frühstück gut- gut für kleine Fahrradtouren- gut erreichbar mit dem Riga habe

Cons:

Habe um einen Tag verlängert- leider war das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss nicht ganz von der Qualität wie das im ersten Geschoss.. könnte verbessert werden.
