Right near the water, most of the reviews are pretty accurate. A budget, relaxed place with very helpful staff.
Bathroom was a bit basic, some more space for putting things would be handy.
Tucked away from the crowd and yet close to the city centre, very peaceful living by the lake, watching the shikaras passing by (almost like living on a houseboat), and hosted by a very attentive owner and staff. They will take care of your every need.

The hotel is located just on a Dal Lake bank. The owner is very helpful and could prepare you a tasty dinner and give tips about sightseeing. The hotel building is atmosphering and has a terrace with a lake view.
The water pressure in the shower was weak and made it impossible to take a shower.
Chachoo hotel owner and staff is very nice 8 cooperative and helpful. Location is good near to sikara boat. Room is comfortable.

The hotel is by the lake, it has a very relaxing atmosphere, nature is really close. It is an affordable great alternative of the Houseboats.
The hotel staff was really helpfull in everything: booked the airport transfer, the sightseeings, even organized to have my laundry done.
Food is available and delicious.

Noise. Lots of dogs barking throughout the night then joined by imams around 4.30 am, competing with lots of other mosques with booming loudspeakers.
