how clean the room and facility
the mini bar in the room prices really ridiculous...I rather my own
The shower and mattress were nice.
Unfortunately my wife and I felt a little taken aback by the party held on Friday, July 10th. For the money we paid, we had hoped to get a full night's rest and not finally get to sleep at around 2AM. We had a very important meeting today and struggled to make it through because we slept all but 4 hours last night due to the excessive noise.
Regrettable, because we genuinely wanted to enjoy the stay, but could not under the circumstances. If Chez had at least warned us ahead of time of this, then we could have been responsible for the stay, but both of us feel a little blindsided by the night's event.
For the future, please warn your guests if the night includes a party of that scale. This will let them book elsewhere or if they are okay with that environment, stay. For that price, they should at least have the courtesy to decide.

This hotel was such a beautiful, elegant, and clean place. this hotel was amazing!! the cleanliness was 10/10!
the wifi could have been a little better.
The modern decor and great location.
There’s an event on the rooftop ended very late. The bass was extremely strong and you can feel the room vibrate. Unfortunately the room is not sound proofed at all, you can hear neighbors quite clear.
Sahar at the front desk was amazing. Definitely made the stay so enjoyable.
The bookshelf wallpaper in the bathroom was very cool. The overall aesthetic of the hotel property and room was great. Very Instagram-friendly. The front desk worker was absolutely fabulous. Didn't catch her name but she was dressed in all-white (all-black the next morning). A warm welcome after 16 hours of traveling and a cancelled flight.
The bathroom's barn door kept sliding open which triggered the lights and fan to go on. Very annoying to pop into the bathroom to eliminate the light and sound of the fan. The walls were very thin. I heard my neighboring guests in conversation and other activities as well as their TV blaring. The 24-hour cafe wasn't really a cafe but rather a small grab and go. Be warned - they do NOT offer hot chocolate. The young man in glasses at the front desk who answered my questions only in monosyllabic fashion. Do you have hot chocolate? No. What time is checkout? 11:00. What is included with free breakfast? That (pointing at the muffin cart).
Quite modern, “european” style hotel. Convenient shower.
Technical noise from some machine, maybe external drier or air conditioner unit. Caused not just sound disruption but also light vibration you can feel when in bed. Was not easy to get asleep.
It was nice interior decor
Loud all night because of the roof top, thinga were in the hallway dirty dishes and bags the whole weekend we were there, one night there was some one kept banging in the middle of the night on someones door sounded like they were drunk but the whole stay it was not quite place very loud and noisy no one cane to clean our room or change trash or towels

Chic, clean, extremely kind staff
Very thin walls. I could hear everyone around me.
My wife and I were stopped abruptly overnight at O'Hare en route to our home city. We scrambled to find a place to stay, but most places were booked up. I took a gamble on Chez Hotel despite some mixed reviews, but it was truly magnificent. We were there for less than 12 hours before we had to head out for our flight in the morning, but the room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and full of amenities including a huge TV and a snack/drink bar. Most especially of all I wanted to give a shoutout to Dennis who was working the desk when we arrived at 1 AM. He was the most hospitable hotel receptionist I have ever met, and he made our brief, unexpected stay in Chicago a truly memorable experience despite our travel difficulties. Talking to him about Chicago back in the day and his own travel stories when there was nobody else around made it much more than worth the money for the room and the ubers to and from O'Hare. Give that man a raise!
We weren't there long enough to have any negative experiences at all. The only complaint is it's a bit far from O'Hare, but still a roughly 20 minute ride if your flight is in the late evening or early morning.
