Berg House Unawatuna

Maravillosos. El trato de la familia fue muy acogedor y las condiciones del alojamiento de calidad. Limpieza, atención y desayuno de 10. Nos ofrecieron una habitación con mejores condiciones porque no estaba ocupada, y eso nos mejoró la estancia.

Unreasonable check-in/check-out times (7 PM check-in and 8 AM check-out!). An average experience overall.

I stayed for 3 days and really enjoyed the guest house the people working were always friendly. It's tucked away from the noise of the road, also close to the train station going to Galle. Would stay again.

Berg House Unawatuna is a hidden gem! Cozy rooms, a beautiful garden, and a chill vibe make it perfect for budget travelers. Great location, friendly staff, and a breezy upstairs area to relax. Loved my stay!

The accommodation was great and clean:) not that far from beaches and local restaurants. Also the staff was super nice and friendly, ready to help us every time :) our plan was to stay in Unawatuna olny for 2 nights, but ended up extending the accommodation for 2 more nights because the location was great!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming family guest house. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly. It’s in a great location – just a 20-minute walk or a quick tuk-tuk ride to Unawatuna beach, with a supermarket nearby. The area is quiet, making it perfect for a peaceful stay. The owners are incredibly friendly and offer delicious Sri Lankan food that really adds to the experience. If you’re looking for an affordable, quiet place with great local hospitality, this is a top choice.

I stayed one night at The Berg House and had a great experience. The room was affordable, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The property has a beautiful green garden in a quiet and peaceful area. It's within walking distance to the train station and is very close to Jungle Beach, Turtle Beach, Unawatuna Beach, and Galle Fort. The kind family running the place has great knowledge about the area and was extremely helpful. I also ordered dinner rice and curry which was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely return one day.

I had an excellent stay at this family-run guesthouse. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, offering great tips about the area and things to do. They prepared a special non-spicy Sri Lankan rice and curry for me, which was delicious!

The room was clean, spacious, and located in a peaceful area. It’s within walking distance to both the supermarket and the beach, and very close to Galle Fort, Unawatuna Beach, and Jungle Beach. I
also found one of the best gyms in Sri Lanka nearby.

The guesthouse has a beautiful garden that adds to its charm, and I felt at home right away. I will definitely come back again
