Very nice experience
Pros:

Very quiet with great view over the lake.
Intimate dining , cooked to order from small but varied menu
Order breakfast the evening before. Very nice food
Rooms very large and nicely decorated

Cons:

Steep steps or slope from rooms to reception ok for us but may be a problem for some

Beautiful view of Ihema lake and service is friendly and nice
Pros:

The view of the lake ihema , Julia was extremely friendly and helpful and accommodating , we had a few meals there and she was great service , also if u have time they arranged a blind masseuse named Angelique if u have time arrange she did a great job

Cons:

Nothing but a bit of a walk to get to the room and no TV

Einfach nur schön!
Pros:

Die Einrichtung der Lodges ist sehr geschmackvoll gewählt. Toll war der Blick vom Bett in die Weite der Natur und die große Fensterfront neben der Dusche, wirklich besonders! Das Personal ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam und freundlich. Einen ganz besonderen Dank an dieser Stelle an Julia! Die Lodges und die ganze Anlage sind sehr gepflegt. Wir sind zum zweiten Mal beim Akagera National Park, aber die Ihema Lodge hat unseren diesjährigen Aufenthalt besonders gemacht und wir empfehlen sie wärmstens weiter.

Wonderful lodge & views
Pros:

Exceptional location and views directly from the room, spacious, clean and modern room with all necessary amenities, great restaurant for breakfast, packed lunch or dinners, quiet premises with a great atmosphere, close to the park gate. While some might prefer traditional lodges inside the park, I would choose Akagera Ihema Lodge again over any of the lodges inside the park.

Hervorragender Aufenthalt mit Seeblick
Pros:

Erlesen schöne, ausgestattete und große Zimmer., hervorragendes Bad, die Dusche mit Blick auf den See und die großen Panoramafenster.

Cons:

Durch die separierte Bebauung der einzelnen Lodges können die Wege zwischen Unterkunft Restaurant und Parkplatz recht lang und steil werden - besonders mit Gepäck. Muss man nur vorher wissen.

Traumhafte Lodge als Ausgangspunkt für Safari im Akagera Nationalpark.
Pros:

Einer der schönsten Lodge , in der ich je war.
Die Lage und der Blick sind fantastisch. Die Zimmer sind äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Der Ausblick aus dem Bett und das bodennahe Fenster mit Ausblick in der Dusche waren sensationell.
Das kleine und feine Restaurant, bot zu jeder Tageszeit ein hervorragende Verpflegung bei der man wieder den Ausblick auf den See genießen konnte.
Auf meine Bedienung habe ich ein liebevoll verpacktes Frühstück und Lunchpaket erhalten.
Zum Akagera. Nationalpark ist es nur ein Sprung.

Un séjour hors du temps dans un lieu magnifique
Pros:

Tout était parfait, l’accueil, la vue, le logement, la propreté, le standing, la nourriture excellente, la gentillesse du personnel. Et un grand merci à Julia qui nous a bien aidé pour la suite de notre voyage.

A wonderfully relaxing stay with beautiful views over Akagera National Park.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay, the views, food, rooms and staff were all really excellent. I would definitely book again next time I go to Akagera.

Cons:

There was nothing at all, it really exceeded our expectations actually. A friend had recommended it and we were really pleased.
