Une fantastique experience
Pros:

Très belle chambre spacieuse, confortable avec un onsen privatif . Le personnel est aux petits soins pour un service ultra raffiné. Service de navette dédié : terminal du ferry, musées... Localisation proche des Art House .

Wahnsinnig schöner Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Es war wunderschön. Ein richtig toller Ort um zu entspannen, sich wohl zu fühlen und ein bisschen zur Ruhe zu kommen. Wir waren zwei Nächte dort und bekamen zwei unterschiedliche Menüs zum Abendessen. Beide waren ausgezeichnet. Alle waren total freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Die Betten waren gemütlich.
Das Essen war vorzüglich.
Es gab Hilfe beim Transfer von und zu den Häfen.
Wir konnten Räder leihen.
Es gab Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer sowie eine kleine Minibar.
Alles ist sehr ästhetisch und geschmackvoll.
Alle waren ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend.
Wir konnten den privaten Onsen nutzen wann wir wollten.
Japanisches und Amerikanisches Frühstück zum wählen.

Perfect place to stay after a full day of enjoying the art and architecture on the island
Pros:

Beautifully designed, and a wonderful way to spend a couple of nights on Naoshima. Thoughtful and courteous staff, with very helpful ryokan shuttle buses picking us up from the ferry and dropping us off at museums. The evening sushi and kaiseki meals were also extraordinarily good. Very charming, comfortable and spacious suites.

Unforgettable design and overall experience, only let down by the food.

A truly incredible place to stay. Superb design in every last detail. A real joy to behold and experience.

Cons:

The elaborate Kaiseki meal was delightfully presented but almost all the dishes failed to impress or delight in taste/flavour. The best courses of the many were the sashimi and the wagyu beef both of which were amazing. Ideally, these would be the basics but they ended up being the saving grace. Similarly, we took the wine and sake tasting menu to accompany the dinner. Two of the three sakes were superb. But neither of the two wines were good enough to qualify for inclusion for a tasting menu of this price or ambition in my humble opinion.
