Pros:

We love our stay at Pinewood 😍
The location is strategic and close to the supermarket. They provide a shared kitchen that has a complete set of cooking utensils, and the fridge is labelled based on the rooms, which is really convenient.

The property was an easy walk to town

Cons:

Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing.

When we arrived, the first room we were given had an overwhelming sewage smell, so we had to move rooms. The staff were very accommodating and helped us change rooms quickly, which we appreciated.

However, the complex itself has extremely thin walls. You could hear everything happening in the neighbouring rooms, including conversations, people watching videos on their phones, the shower running, and even the extractor fan. It felt like we had to whisper the entire time because there was so little privacy.

The other guests were also very noisy, with partying, yelling, and screaming continuing until around 3:00 am, making it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

To top it off, the TV in the bedroom didn’t work.

While the staff were helpful, the poor soundproofing, noise from other guests, and maintenance issues meant we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Wonderful accommodation
Pros:

Cons:

Customer service was disappointing. We asked about parking as we were travelling with three small kids, but were simply told it was first come, first served and to check for a space ourselves. The room was very small, and we waited several hours for a second set of towels due to dryer issues. The shared kitchen bins were overflowing, and the shared bathroom had a mouldy smell and didn’t feel very hygienic, especially as our room was next to the common kitchen.

Clean and nice place to stay for family
Pros:

Although it is a room with shared bathroom, it is in a self contained unit, bathroom, kitchen all included, nice place to stay. Walking distance to skyline and Kiwi Park.

Cons:

A bit hard to find a parking spot in front of the unit.

Very enjotable 3 days stay :)
Pros:

Love the shower pressure, so relaxing. Bed is so comfy.
20 mins walk and we reach to town centre. Safe area to live in and shops round corner as well.

Cons:

The wall cna celing has no sound proof, so can hear upstair flushing toilet at nite and showering. Other than that everything are great.
