Very well located, good for a short stay.
Pros:

Spacious, very well located, quiet. Good for a short stay, too basic for a longer vacation.

Cons:

Dirty sheets in one of the beds. Total lack of any character.

A really decent hotel in south tulum to get away from the noisy north tulum.
Pros:

So we stayed in the cabanas which are located by the Panamera hotel who are a sister property and reception to Tuup.

The size of the room was excellent!

Cons:

Not the fault of the hotel but the weather turned very cold and we need many blankets

Ubicación increíble a 20mts del mar, reposeras propias, limpieza diaria, valet parking, super económico para una zona paradisíaca. Hector, el anfitrión principal, un maestro. Súper recomendable 😉

Mitigé : sympa pour l’emplacement, déçu pour le logement et les services
Pros:

L’emplacement sur la plage était top. L’idée d’une cabane sur la plage est sympa également.
Suite aux récents commentaires des frigos ont été installés

Cons:

Le bruit : la musique du club de plage dont dépend Tuup: de la musique d’ascenseur lounge de 8h du matin jusque tard dans la nuit… alors qu’il n’y a personne dehors le soir en raison du vent.
La cabane est très très très mal isolée (la grand en avant sur la plage) le vent s’engouffre dans l’hébergement au point de faire voler les rideaux. Nous avons dû demanders des couettes !
En choisissant cette partie de l’établissement, vous êtes relégué en 3e classe : pas de petit déjeuner (il vous en coûtera 25€!!!!!! Par personne, pas le droit à la piscine de m hôtel, il faut traverser la rue pour aller dans une « baignoire »…. Bref bof bof.

Très belle plage et bel hôtel, attention au confort de la chambre
Pros:

L'emplacement et la plage privée sont de atouts indéniables. Le restaurant et les piscines sont superbes. Personnel souriant, à l'écoute.

Cons:

J'apprécie le style minimaliste et simple de la chambre, mais cela ne doit pas se faire au détriment du confort. Lit dur, quelques traces d'humidité, mauvaise insonorisation

Panamera and Tuup are examples of why people aren't returning to Tulum in the off season
Pros:

The location is great. Staff at Panamera (Tuup is the poor cousin of Panamera) are really lovely. Which I why I'm loathe to write this bad review, but I feel compelled to.

Cons:

Tuup is so poorly maintained - even after the slow season. The hotel had the entire slow season to get things right, and didn't. I had a curtain falling off, stains on the walls, a bathroom with flaking paint. I raised these points with management and offered my phone number to discuss further but they were disinterested. It seems that management are just riding off the coat tails of Tulum and think tourists will pay whatever and won't care about quality. Only thing is, the prices are so high that it's not rustic charm - just bad value.

Sur les photos il semble y avoir de jolis transates sur la plage à disposition des clients de l'hôtel. Ce qui se passe en réalité c'est que Tupp tulum est l'hotel "cheap" du groupe Panamera et que les transates sont réservés aux clients de l'hôtel Panamera en priorité. J'ai du me plaindre à 4 personnes pour finalement pouvoir en profiter...

Abbiamo soggiornato per 12 notti presso il Tuup Tulum siamo una famiglia di due adulti e due ragazze. La posizione è eccellente direttamente sulla spiaggia. Molto apprezzata la possibilità di poter usufruire dei servizi dell'hotel Panamera. Consiglio di prenotare i bungalow sulla spiaggia anche se con un po di supplemento in quanto gli altri sono sulla strada. Il primo bungalow che ci hanno assegnato era molto rumoroso ma sono stati gentilissimi a spostarci in uno piu interno dal quale non sentivamo piu i rumori della strada.

Cons:

I prezzi del ristorante e delle escursioni decisamente alti. Il primo giorno abbiamo pagato 80 euro in 4 solo per la colazione

Pros:

Not much, really. It's loud, very expensive - the bar and food prices are ridiculous compared to anywhere else we stayed in Yucatán. The hotel and beach are fine and everyone was very friendly, but our bungalow had the look and comfort of an autopsy suite. We left after the first of our two nights and returned to Akumal which is far nicer, and you don't need a second mortgage to have dinner.

Cons:

Being asked to hand over the keys to our hire car so they could move it from the parking space if they needed to - potential insurance nightmare. The only other option was to agree to be on call night and day if they needed the car moved. The food and drink prices. The flimsy lock on our room door
