Beautiful but simple, artistically designed small hotel outside town.
Pros:

Beautiful wall murals and special artistic designs all around. Wonderful views. The owners are very nice and helpful, especially Alejandro, who went above and beyond to tell us about how the hotel got built, places to explore, and he even went with us to a mirador close by to explain more about the plants and animals of the jungle. Breakfast is not included but you can go to the small restaurant right across the street which one of the family members from the hotel owns. Good Internet service.

Cons:

We chose this place because it is outside town but it's still located above a main road so you hear traffic noise all evening and through the night. It was hard for me to sleep. The bathroom sink is so small that you have difficulty washing your face without splashing water all over the floor. Lots of stairs to climb so be in good shape, especially if you're carrying luggage with you.

Absolutely loved it. Definitely a place for those who love art, natural beauty and adventure.
Pros:

An amazing artful building perched on the side of the mountain. As you ascend, you are greeted by several terraces all with different artwork and details which makes it fun; the steps are many so you have to be in good shape to enjoy this incredible place. Our spacious room was beautiful in every curated detail and had the most spectacular views of Xilitla in the distance. Quite an extraordinary experience.
Everybody was very attentive and friendly. especially Alejandro making sure that we had everything we needed and helping us navigate the steep parking. Super.
Just be warned that the parking area is a very step ramp with no side railings. If that does not concern you,, this could be the perfect place to stay during your Xilitla visit.

Cons:

This spectacular setting can have some drawbacks for those that are light sleepers as you might hear some traffic noise from the road below and the steps you need to climb if you are not in good shape.
