Managed by a private host
The wardrobe stank of mould. The cloth of the chairs were all old and broken and dirty. There were very visible stains on several walls. All the cleaning liquids that were essential to me (hand washing liquid, dish washing liquid, and laundry detergent) were either too little left, too diluted to have cleaning effects, or just an empty bottle. In the bathroom, from what said on the bottles, there were two bottles of shampoo and one of hair conditioner, but all of them made bubbles so clearly that ain't conditioner, and some of them had huge chunks of clogs shooting out as I pressed them, and then out came some disgusting mixture of who knows what. Luckily I brought some just in case but obviously I had to buy my own dish washing liquid. There were just too many empty bottles. And the only mirror was obviously for the faces of ppl who are over 6 ft only. Lack of proper management.
It is a spacious flat with all facilities needed.
1. I made it clear in my booking request that I need a quiet room, but received the nosiest room of all! first floor, overlooking a busy street, with heavy traffic - not the slightest effort to accommodate my request - they have hogher floors and back rooms, but this was not assigned upon my request.
2. On the first morning after my arrival, there was a huge puddle, leaking from the refrigerator. I contacted the host and it was fixed.
3. I asked to extend for one more night, and the host asked me to go through bBooking.com. Then I discovered a double cleaning fee (an incredible sum of 6000 yen) was added to my booking, hence paid 12000 yen for cleaning! I was outraged and asked to cancel that. As a result I ha to pay in cash money for my room.
I was not happuy about this service and attitude. Very unprofessional.
Everything is just as announced on the website.
The chairs close to the window are not necessary. Takes too much space.
I was able to experience a room where real Japanese people live.
The location is far from any tourist destination.
The floor of the accommodation was a little bit dirty.
Access to a lot of equipments
We can hear the noise from the outside street but it is still comfortable !
Self check-in was smooth. Washing machine in-unit was convenient. Umbrellas were provided, also convenient.
We booked two studios, both advertised to have 1 full bed each. When we got there, we realized one studio had a significantly smaller bed that would not fit 2 adults, so we messaged the host. They said, "the beds in both rooms are double beds, but the size of the beds will be different because of the different sizes of the rooms." This didn't make sense to us since it was listed as two full beds. They were not able to offer a discount, nor could we switch rooms. Our friend had to book a separate accommodation elsewhere, which was frustrating and expensive.
Location was fantastic
Kombini bus metro nearby
The house is Japanese style , missing a sink with mirror (in case for a man wants to shave)
But this is a very minor thing
Quick answers from host, big for Tokyo standards
Light was shining through the window in the hallway (no blinds) and the glass of the bedroom's door, some dishware in the cupboard was dirty. There was not a mirror in the whole house.
Large bed, washing machine and big room
The landlord or the second landlord is Chinese, and communication is relatively convenient.
The landlord or second landlord did not write down the building name and tell the specific number of rooms in the first time, which caused me to spend a lot of time searching and wasted a day.
