Close to the city center.
More of a 2 stars than 4 stars. No water in the room, very cold, horrible heating installation.
The shower was hot and powerful and the Libby looked very nice. It was a great location.
The TV was bigger than the bed, I've never had such a small double bed in a hotel. The room was freezing and the bathroom even more cold. They provided a plug in heater for the room.
Really clean. Quiet 7th floor room. Great city view from the window.
Air conditioning / heater made a loud gurgling sound. Not able to sleep with it on.
Good location

Yet again doors do not open without inserting card several times, people in corridoor having same problem
I needed an early check in and the staff were so accommodating for this. The location is excellent, the room clean.
The bathroom was a bit dated but all still fine, the pillows were a bit lumpy.
We stayed here for a concert at the First Direct Arena, which was about a 15/20 minute walk so the location was good. There was a lovely Italian restaurant just around the corner where we ate and the food was delicious. The staff at check in and check out were lovely.
I originally booked for 2 people but then needed to change this to 3. The room we’d booked had a double bed and a single so I messaged the hotel via booking.com and asked whether we could add the 3rd person onto the room, they said this was no problem. I asked if we needed to pay additional for the third person and they said they would honour it at the same price which was great. I checked this with the hotel multiple times as the booking was still saying 2 people not 3, all times the hotel confirmed that it was for 3 people. When I tried to check in online the day before arrival I asked again if there were 3 people on the booking and was told it was only 2 and we needed to pay extra for 3. I showed them the previous messages where they’d confirmed 3 people and no additional cost and then they agreed to keep the same price.
During our stay the beds were very uncomfortable and hard and the air vent in the room kept us awake all night with clicking and revving noises. We complained about this the next day and the hotel did give us a 50% refund which was appreciated. All in all it was a great location and lovely staff but not great for a good nights sleep!
Great hotel will be back
