Kaira Boutique Hotel

Ah where to begin… first of all there is no reception, only bar. Bar tenders have contacted someone and the guy with 0 english came around to collect the money and give the keys to the rooms. We have arrived to the property earlier than check in time but we have informed hotel a day before that and hotel approved earlier check in. When we have entered the room….I never seen such a mess. It looks like that someone was “making babies” in the room minutes before we arrived. Very dirty, human fluids over the bed, dirty bed sheets. We have complained to the hotel “boss” via whatsapp that it’s not acceptable and we would like to receive a refund and move on somewhere else. Obviously “boss” did not want to listen anything about it and started to blame us because we have had earlier check in. Cleaners came around to clean the rooms and while we were waiting we started to talk to bar tenders, guys told us that cleaners are washing bed sheets with the fastest washing machine function (15min) to reduce time and cost. He told us (he works in the kitchen) that cleaning staff is not great and making mess in the kitchen and “boss” do not care. So check in starts at 15:00 but at 16:00 we came to check the rooms and it was still dirty. Only bedsheet changed and floor was mopped. But as we’ve heard from bar staff about hygiene in this hotel all I wanted is to go far away from it. We have tried to contact “boss” and have a conclusion, they have not offer us to change the rooms, did not apology but he/she ignored us so we had nothing left to do as to leave the keys at the bar and move somewhere else. We have contacted booking.com and they are working and helping us with the refund. If you are reading this, please avoid this hotel, yes it’s cheap, but it still not worth it. Kaira hotel falls under few names that you can find here on booking. Be careful and compare photos because it did not look like in the photos.

Das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich und fast schon arrogant. Ich verstehe nicht wenn man so eine Haltung gegenüber anderen Menschen hat, warum man dann ich einem Hotel arbeitet.
Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, die Handtücher hatten einen komischen Geruch. Meine Bettwäsche war mit Sand. Zimmerservice gab es keinen.
Beim Check in würde einen keinerlei Informationen zu nichts gegeben. Nur bezahlen, Karte nehmen und gehen.
Ich hatte auf dem Balkon ein Insekten/Bienennest. Ich hatte viele Motten im Zimmer. WLAN hat nicht funktioniert. Ich habe es gemeldet aber es interessiert niemanden. Beim Checkout könnte man nicht mal tschüss sagen. Sehr komische Art ein Hotel zu führen

The room was built up on top of weird storage bins making the room feel very small. The room was dirty and full of ants. We've been travelling SE Asia for 5 months staying in hotels and hostels and this is the worst place we've stayed. The beach is nice if you like Magaluf. Pretty rubbish part of Phu Quoc with not much going on. Maybe the area will get better over the coming years.

Cannot predict the weather. Sometimes it rains, but when it does if that's the opportunity to press the pause and reset button..ha!

Unstable and slow wifi connection

The motorbikes available for rent were a little old and didn't feel the safest. But it did the job.

The only thing I would say is before I changed room the layout of the other room was cramped and Airton blasting directly on you wasn't ideal.
