HVH Hotel is a piece of shit. Stay away from it unless you have no other place to hide your head.
Pros:

Only the proximity to the attractions. Its centrally located.

Cons:

1) Management: Akhilesh Tripathi, the General Manager is a rogue. He doesn't take any action. I was so frustrated, I moved 2 girls from our group to another hotel. Having checked out 1 day earlier, he didn't even refund. He took the full money saying that Booking.com doesn't allow. If booking.com doesn't take an action on this and get my refund for a room for one night, this was my last transaction with booking.com
2) Room: Room #309 that was allotted first was a piece of shit. It is all moist and wet. The walls are wet, the bed is wet. The toilet has no toilet paper, there was no hot water. We asked for a room change and they said none is available and we found out ourselves that room #307 was empty and he said he can allot. He did and it was a better room with no towels and pillows to supply.
3) Infrastructure: The elevator smells like a public urinal and I told this to the Gen Mgr who said its a different issue. The restaurant has pathetic food for breakfast. The idlis were definitely not from that day. When the restaurant manager asked me, I categorically made the remark that it is not for humans for which she apologised and said that a fresh lot has come now and I must try; I politely declined. Linen has holes, curtains had stains, there were no extra towels to wipe hands.

Nice, cozy and comfortable stay in the central location with good amenities
Pros:

It is a nice 3 star property with very good location. It is right on the road though being close to temple, cabs can not go directly to thier hotel. You will have to walk for 200 mtrs from the dropping off point to reach the property. They send staff for your help. Rooms were nice, cozy and comfortable. It was a good place to stay in the city center.
