Conga Boutique Hotel

What a gorgeous little hotel tucked away off the main road in a beautiful mini rainforest setting. The rooms are super comfortable and gorgeous, the breakfast is delicious and served in a lovely outdoor setting and the staff is just wonderful: super helpful and friendly, really making our stay fantastic. We have been in a lot of places as a family and the Conga really sits up there with the best of them! The hotel is a 10mins walk from the town and then you are surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants… a real delight!

La ubicación es inmejorable, en el mismo recinto del hotel pudimos ver monos, serpientes, arañas, perezosos, un caimán, entre otros. Además, el personal de recepción es muy servicial ayudándonos a contratar trasporte y excursiones e incluso invitándonos a alguna.

Ubicación y limpieza

El hotel es precioso, ubicado cerca del centro de Puerto Viejo, con playas y parques nacionales. El desayuno es espectacular, con muchas opciones distintas. Lo mejor es la atención del personal, muy cálida y amable.

Ich muss sagen es hat uns einfach alles gefallen. Wir hatten unsere Flitterwochen in Costa Rica weil wir was aussergewöhnliches machen wollten und es war mehr als die beste Unterkunft dafür. Es ist ein Hotel mitten in der Dschungel und trotzdem 10 Minuten zu Fuß von den ganzen Restaurants, Cafés, Supermärkten und alles was man braucht und wenn man Tipps braucht ist das unglaublich freundliche Personal für einem da und versucht einem das schönste Erlebnis zu ermöglichen. Wir sind begeistert und sehr zufrieden.

Me pareció en realidad las habitaciones pequeñas y básicas para un hotel 5 estrellas

Me alojé cuatro noches en abril 2026, en un cuarto en planta baja con vista al jardín. Tanto mi cuarto como todo el hotel, estaban bellamente decorados y cuidados al detalle. Mi cuarto era pequeño pero tenía todo lo necesario y era funcional, además contaba con un living exterior muy bonito que sumaba espacio. El área de comedor y piscina eran tan acogedores, que daban ganas de quedarse allí. Buenas opciones para el desayuno, a la carta, servicio tal vez algo lento, pero es sólo un detalle. El personal me resultó extremadamente amable, por encima de todo estándar, en especial Valentina que siempre estuvo atenta a todas mis consultas, y trató de ayudarme con tours y movilidad.
Siendo viajera sola la ubicación me resultó súper conveniente para moverme en Puerto Viejo; podía ir caminando al centro para un lado, como a Cocles para el otro. Para los lugares más lejos aproveché el bus y el tuk tuk de confianza del hotel que fue óptimo.

the rooms are beautiful, and the place really well maintained. we didn't even have to leave Conga to see wildlife, as you can encounter agoutis, sloth, green iguanas and poison dart frogs here. the staff are very sweet, and we'll miss you all!

Great Hotel

1. Alle Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich!!!!
2. Das Frühstück gehörte zu den besten auf unserer einjährigen Weltreise.
3. Durch die naturnahe Einbettung in die Umgebung hatte die Unterkunft eine tolle Atmosphäre.
4. Der Kochkurs mit Valentina hat richtig Spaß gemacht und man hat dadurch die anderen Gäste kennen gelernt.

Everything about this property was wonderful. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city center either on foot or by tuk-tuk.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and exceptionally patient and kind with our children, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. A special thank you to Valentina and the breakfast/cleaning/mantainance team, who went above and beyond to make every morning enjoyable. The breakfast itself was outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality options and excellent service.
We were so happy to know they have celebration packages available as well, and had such a nice decoration and a delicious cake awaiting for us for my son's bday ! :)
Our kids were delighted with the toys provided at the pool and loved the staff's enthusiasm in helping them spot wildlife around the property. One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was the beautiful garden, which was regularly visited by sloths, iguanas, and several species of toucans. It felt like being surrounded by nature while still enjoying all the comforts of a great hotel.
These thoughtful touches made the experience truly special. This is a stay we will remember for a long time, and we are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!
