All in all a very pleasant stay and perfect for what I needed

I didn’t stay.

Cons:

I was expecting a hotel as suggested in the title of the property, I do not know what a homestay is and where the four stars come from because they mean nothing. There is no private parking at the property, which is what I wanted for my car. It is just an outdoor space which is Tarmac and it’s not accessible from the road because there is no drop-down curb in front of the property. This is not official parking and non-accessible because of cars parking in the street. The only parking that should be advertised is Street parking. And the advert is very misleading. The gentleman I spoke to was very kind but it was not what I was looking for and if I had further information I would not have booked.

Pros:

Location was good as we had tickets for the Blackfriars art centre and it was in walking distance, room was very modern and clean.

Cons:

I chose the silk hotel because it stated private parking on arrival I rang the owner as I couldn’t find the car park to be told it is gated and if I parked at the side of the property there was no guarantee that I wouldn’t be blocked in by someone parking on the street. The entrance they were referring to was at by the side of the property there wasn’t a dropped curb and to be honest the curb would be to high to mount without causing damage to the car. I think this feature needs to be removed from their property description. Also when you flush the toilet the is a very strong smell of Sewage which isn’t pleasant but i suppose if there is problems with the drains it can’t be helped but I’m just making people aware.

Great place to stay for away fans at Boston United gsmes
Pros:

Great facilities, spotlessly clean, excellent value. If like me, you are an away fan attending an evening game at Boston United and can't get home via public transport after the game, this is ideal for an overnight stop
